Commercial Description:
Medium body, strong malty flavor, fine dry finish. A classic brown ale. Steaks and ribs are the best choices for our hearty, big-bodied Old Elk Brown Ale.

Tap @ Walnut: Poured a clear golden brown color with an off-white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with some fruity notes. Toasty caramel malt flavor. Sweet chocolate. medium bodied.

on tap-pours an off white head and dark red/brown color. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is nutty, sweet medium malt, some hops. OK carbonation.

Brownish-red color. Aromas of crystal malt, and flowery hops. Smooth mouthfeel probably due to the lack of carbonation. Slightly sweet, with notes of carmel and cookie. A bit watery, but drinkalbe none the less.

Draught at Walnut Brewery. Pours dark nit brown with a small tan creamy head and spotty lined laicng. Chocolate malt and fruit hop aromas. Chocolate malt body with a fruit hop finish, a little musty. Medium bodied and creamy.

On tap at the Walnut Brew Pub in Boulder, CO. Poured a medium reddish / brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, light chocolate and nutty. Tastes of caramel, chocolate, nuts and light citrus.
