TikiE (337), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jun 19, 2008 On tap: Pours a ruby brown color that tastes of malts with hints of chocolate. Smells of sweet chocolate as well, it was a bit funky but decent.
patrick767 (1403), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 6, 2008 tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a mild caramel malt aroma. As expected the flavor is also dominated by the caramel malts. That’s usually what brown ales are all about. There’s minimal hops presence here. It’s light bodied and really uninspiring. goldtwins (3731), Nesconset, New York, USA Nov 1, 2007 Tap @ Walnut: Poured a clear golden brown color with an off-white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with some fruity notes. Toasty caramel malt flavor. Sweet chocolate. medium bodied. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 21, 2007 Date: 10/14/2007

BillKismet (1401), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 25, 2007 Gorgeous garnet color with silky head. Bland blend of hops and malt in aroma and flavor with a metallic finish. Medium body. Boring.
