On tap: Pours a ruby brown color that tastes of malts with hints of chocolate. Smells of sweet chocolate as well, it was a bit funky but decent.

Apr 6, 2008 tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a mild caramel malt aroma. As expected the flavor is also dominated by the caramel malts. That’s usually what brown ales are all about. There’s minimal hops presence here. It’s light bodied and really uninspiring.
