A hazed amber ale with athick creamy off white head. In aroma, a surprisingly nice spiced coriander and curacao, with light alcohol. In mouth, nice caramel malt with curacao, oily mouthfeel, warming alcohol. Rich and smooth. Bottled, at Mondial 2010.

Drank on day 2 of the 2010 Mondial de la Bière. Mid-misty blonde, medium head. Sweet aroma of malted barley, slightly spicy. Dry barley sugar taste, light malty spice, good little bitterness. Yes, I would drink it in Brazil, or anywere else!

My Bottom Line:
This peppery Tripel’s classy mouthfeel is the home of cushiony cereal sweetness, spicy hops and a veritable fruit salad of esters, flavors which are all nicely balanced and vibrant.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A lingering sheet of foam tops the cloudy blond.
-The fruity finish is pretty citrusy and almost tart.
-The soft frothiness of carbonation is perfect to alleviate dextrins.
-The hop bitterness is long and herbal, and never aggressive.

Sampled at the Mondial de la bière 2010. Hazy golden with a medium white head showing great retention and beautiful lacing. Aroma is citrus, sugar, belgian malt, herbal hops and alcohol. Flavor is citrus, sweet malt, sugar, apples, herbal and floral hops, alcohol and a moderately sweet finish. A well made triple and the best beer I’ve had from this brewery.

Hazy orange does well to the beer, along with the rich beige faint foam. Aroma filled with citric notes and oat, but still the pinaple get’s above all. Some wheat malt scents, mainly banana. Some barley malt, some spicy. The aroma is the main character in this beer. Goes nicely balanced in the mouth, very softly. The sweetness is balanced with barley bitterness, but the strong citric taste gets a little bit in the way with the beer indentity. Trippels get citric, but not so much. Some spice, bread and lavanda get to the tongue softly but remarkably, along with honey, and make the aftertaste sweet and quick. This beer is not what I usually expect in trippels, but it’s a great brazilian piece! Congratulations to the brewers! Had it at the new Bar Brejas.

It’s the typical "get ya drunk, frat beer." which it is. i used it to boil my brats, but, like I always do when I am cooking with beer, I took a swig of the stuff. Not bad, a little sweet and super expensive - the . So, if your broke, cooking, need to get "yer drink on" this is the beer for you!

espuma apresenta aparência inicial volumosa e irregular, cor alva e reduzida longevidade.

A hazy orange beer with a airy white head. Aroma is fruity (citric) and spicy. Taste is sweet and malty. Spicy and sweety notes. Well balanced and nice mouthfeel. Low bitterness and high carbonation, like a genuine trippel. Very good brazilian beer.
