4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Six pack in an Eau Claire supermarket for $8.99. Was not in the micro/import section but alongside the regular beers.
Cool retro labels, bottles and packaging.
Taste is clean, foam retention good. Hops are subdued as they should be. The color is too dark. Aftertaste is very heavy with caramel malt. Overall a really nice beer, but Walter´s beers did not taste nearly as good as this!
Cut back on the residual sweetness and you would have an exceptional lager. This is one of the best beers to come out of Eau Claire in a long time.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had it on tap at Northwoods BrewPub in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Poured a clear golden hue with a whisper white head and a aroma of "beer" circa 1975. Taste like a macro.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This pours a clear, golden yellow color with a slight, off-white head. There is a slight grain aroma but nothing too strong. The taste is very strong with raw grains. It’s fairly chalky and has a slight bitter finish. It also has a thin texture for very easy drinking. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not very good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is yeast, bread and light citrus, similar to a German Pilsner. The flavor is citrus, malts, mild hops and a beery/bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This surprised me. Cloudy orangy pour with an off white head head. Lots of citrus hops in the nose. Flavor of citrus and some floral hops. Quick finish with a slight watery mouth-feel. Lightly bitter in the background. Very flavorful for the money.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz. can. Slightly hazy straw color with a big pillowy white head. Aroma of musty grain and a bit of sweet malt. Flavor is watery grain and really not much else. I guess it doesn’t suck but that’s about all you can say about it.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Skyview, thanks! Macro yellow with a four finger soapy white crown. Aroma of grains, sweet malt, perfumed malt and some sourness. Thin bodied quaff is mildly sour with malt, corn and is a tad over-carbonated.
