3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jimthechap (1195) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 1, 2009
Purchased in Queenstown, consumed and enjoyed in Queenstown as one of the few satisfying experiences I had down there with my clothes on.
Plenty of hop aroma, good flavour for a lager and good lingering bitterness. Seconds definitely, but in warmer weather.

Golden-orange colour, thin white head. Reminds me of a continental lager, such as Becks. Malt nose fairly sweet flavour. Caramel malt flavours. Dryish finish. Overall, a clean, easy to drink beer.

An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

330 ml bottle BB 30/08/05. Pale copper colour, slightly malty aroma as well. Light apple fruitiness. Flavour is bready and toasty. A touch of fruitiness and some mild spicy hops. A bit underdone compared to the other two beers I had from this brewery.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 motelpogo (5530) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 7, 2004
a strange combination of porridge, musk lifesavers and mango juice. quite sweet with a fruity finish. weird but not bad
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2003
Not as good as their Brewski. This is much more malty and bready. It has not nearly as much hops and is sweeter.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 20, 2005
Tasted 20/12/2005. 330ml bottle from New World Metro, at JT’s.
Copper, diminishing off-white head, medium carbonation, slightly appley aroma, some toasty malt noted too, little in the way of hops, short finish.
The only thing "wrong" with this beer is that it’s a bit too strong, at 4.8%, to be the standard quaffer that I assume it is intended as. It’s the standard, mild, kiwi-brown lager, which is definitely not my thing (but it is done better than most).
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mkel07 (2340) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 7, 2010
330ml bottle. Cloudy copper colour with barely any foam, only a skinny edging of white bubbles around the edge of the glass. Looks a bit flat. Sweet malt aroma that is enticing and inviting and leads into a mildly bitter flavour that is a bit unusual at first but after a few sips it grows on you.
