Bottle. Clear golden color with an average bubbly white head. Aroma is a bit weak but some slightly grassy saaz hops are detectable, as well as a bit of grainy malt. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit bready, and a mildly bitter and hoppy finish. Light-bodied and quite watery. Not a good Bohemian pilsener but nothing terrible.

Mar 27, 2008 0.5L bottle. Clear deep golden colour, small head,strong hoppy aroma with some earthy notes and metalic traces in the back, pronounced bitter taste with some sweetness, short bitter aftertaste. Standard bohemian pilsener.

Dec 21, 2007 bottle. Clear golden yellow, large head. Hoppy and malty with a rather shy bitter-sweet character. Slightly sweet and pleasantly hoppy. A well-balanced desítka.
MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany
Nov 12, 2007 (bottle, 4.1% abv, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly acidic bready malty nose, also a bit sugary with a light hoppy background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour with a touch of tartness. Slightly bready and sugary malty taste; ascorbic and slightly tart-bitter finish, hints of metal in the aftertaste. Avoidable drink.

Oct 9, 2006 Bottle: Deep golden, small foamy layer; grainy, a bit cardboardy nose; moderate sweet flavour, light bodied to watery; short bready-grainy-bitter finish. Not really the beer one should search for when in Bohemia............
