2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear, super pale gold (looks like watered down ginger-ale), good carbonation, slightly nose of apples and wet paper. Mouth is medium bold up front with the crispy and slightly sweet fruitiness and then fades out. I’m still no expert on cider but this one tasted decent, even if it looked pretty boring and didn’t have much of a nose.

달줄 알았는데 상당히 시큼한 맛. 아주 연한 금색에 탄산

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared with my wife. Pours a clear golden yellow that reminds me I haven’t yet taken my vitamin for the day. Quite vinous on the nose, soft hints of caramel and touches of apple. Crisp and clean right away, cool and tart. Lots of of tartness which lingers as everything else dries out. Didn’t realize the age that was on this. Bottled October 2011 so I’m certainly curious how it was fresh, but with a year and a half it’s still tasting lovely.

500mL thanks to GT2. The pour is clear honey. Aroma of sweet fruit blossom, fresh rainstorm, honeycrisp apple. Taste is dryer than the aroma portends- sour green apple, champagne, white grape, really balanced sweet/sour playoff. This is more of a summer cider than fall/winter cider. Similar to what GT2 and I found in Normandy cidre touring the countryside. Very impressive.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500mL. Pours a sparkling, bright, clear, straw with no fizz. Lower carbonation. Nose is champagne, pear, white peach, white grape, vanilla, even fennel/licorice. Interesting. Taste is quite lactic, long sourness, lemonade, lemon/lime juice. Very refreshing, tart, light bodied. Palate is great, very quenching. A good dry cider, more Normandy style French cider. Not too sweet, but not bland and tasting like cheap champagne. Fiance rating: 3.9-4.0

Bottle from Tom, thank you, love ciders! Pour clear lemon, urine like in color. The aroma brings sweet apples and tart cider funk, quite nice. The flavor of the light tart apple comes in, but the body is too light for my palate.

Bottled October 2011. Very clear light yellow with white head. I get some tart apple notes in the flavor as well as a hint of sugar. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

Very tart, some mineral, lightly sweet crisp and wonderful. Far more in the American craft cider mode than the English or French. Surprising complexity and a long finish off a single type of apple. Best un-blended cider I’ve had. Bought a Wickson tree for the yard after tasting this!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
$8 bottle from New Beer Distro. Bottled July 2010. Been sitting in my fridge since March.
Into an un-etched tulip. Clear, pale golden yellow color. Constant activity. Flash of white soda fizz.
Smells like a sparkling semisweet wine. Sharp apricots, oak, a bit of ammonia, minerals, & generic English stuffiness.
What is initially bittersweet apples, rolls out in the middle to become more like lemon butter sauce(heavy on the lemon). Hard, unripe green pears. Finish is composed of yeast & a leafy bitterness. A bit lingering. Sort of like a soured, gentle white table wine. Light on the preservatives.
Strong, beaded carbonation. Light, minerally, & slightly tacky. Imbedded/tolerable alcohol.
Skipped on one of those stale Mikkeller single variables & went with this. Wasn’t amazing, but was pleasantly surprised.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear yellow with a small white head the fizzes out quickly to a ring. Aroma of tart apple, oak, honey and alcohol. The flavor is dry, tart apple with light sourness and alcohol. Light body with active carbonation and a long, dry, tart finish. Pretty good dry cider, the alcohol is pretty well hidden as well.
