COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on a pale ale. A blend of Belgian and American traditions, we use a mix of belgian and american grains, a healthy dose of american hops, and a distinctly belgian yeast to give a nice full flavor to this ale.

Bottle. Translucent Amber hue with a soft and short-lived tan head. The aroma makes the brew seem almost like an American amber with Belgian yeast -- caramel, Hawaiian rolls, a little butter, pear, apple. Same deal in the flavor, which leads with caramel and nuts before the Belgian yeast becomes apparent in the form of a little pear, apple and pepper. Sweetish, with a heavy medium body and mild CO2. Misses the mark stylistically, but isn’t a bad drink otherwise.

On tap @ Diablo Burger. Clear amber pour with a frothy white head. Has a nice American hop aroma to it, lots of pine and grass. Sort of phenolic and peppery. Lots of clove, coriander, and caramel. Flavor has some cinnamon, coriander, and a lot of white pepper. Kind of papery. Decent toast and bread malt, though. A lot of grassy hops. Fairly bitter. Eh.
