brown, black, hazy, white foam, frothy, medium bitterness, medium body, slick feel, average carbonation, coffee taste is more apparent as it gets colder and should be 12-13c if not less to fully appreciate the flavours, bottle at quex barn, canterbury. pretty standard beer.

Cask 2011: Toller röstmalziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist vollmundig-röstmalzig. Sehr viele frisch-grasige Hopfentöne, dazu schokoladige Espressonoten im Hauptteil. Der Nachgeschmack ist schokoladig-röstmalzig mit toller Herbe. Vollmundig-cremig.

Dark brown pour. No head. No lacing. Big roasted aroma. Coffee and ash. Taste is way smoother. Chocolate and roasted coffee. A little thin. But not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nose of dark fruits. burnt leaves , some grassy hops ,roast coffee. looks like a Porter , basically . On the palate , rich , silky chocolaty and then rather dry . The silky rich nuances are similar to an Imperial stout, but lacking the robust body to complement.!
A good porter .
