Cask (handpump) at the Baltic Fleet, Liverpool, April 2008. Quite pale colour. Clean and refreshing, although I can’t say I discerned much in the way of ginger. Perhaps my rather fiery experience with Marble Ginger a couple of days before had numbed my palate to that particular flavour. Or perhaps I was just too engrossed in conversation with "The Peoples Poet", who was trying to sell me a poem - them Scousers eh - to pay sufficient attention. Whatever, it was a perfectly pleasant beer.
