Cask Handpump at the Baltic Fleet, Liverpool 21/02/2002
Straw golden coloured with some pale and citrus aromas. Bitter hop finish.

Aug 4, 2008 Cask, Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. Good to see a lick of paint on the exterior here. They were certainly doing a roaring trade in this on the sunny day I was there. Darkish golden colour with a slight haze and a white head. Aroma was malty with a hint of hop and a dash of something strange.... farty, soiled damp carpet? The flavour was ok, quite complex, but the citrus was not quite promiment enough for me , and the balance somehow seemed a little off kilter. Not without character though and largely enjoyable..

Jul 20, 2008 1/2 pint handpulled cask at The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. Golden color, ok white head. Aroma has nice hops. Flavor is is hops with some fruit and malt. Light, fine summer ale.

May 31, 2008 Cask conditioned at The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. Gold with white head. Lovely refreshing Golden Ale, lemony right from the start, then a Grapefruity tartness underlying the flavour. After that I got apricots and other fruity notes, bitter dry and long. A very good beer, much enjoyed in this great pub.

Jan 20, 2008 Cask at GBBF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light flowery touch. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a light flowery touch, leading to a rather bitter finish.

Jan 5, 2008 Cask handpull at The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. Good condition, nice grassy citrus flavours. Some yeast on aroma. Nice beer and a typical Wapping beer. Bit more grassy than some.
