3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kristall-König (1841) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2011
Test vom 27.2.2007, Gebinde: PET
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Koelschtrinker (8464) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 4, 2011

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yayforbeer (752) - Orange Park, Florida, USA - JAN 4, 2007
Plastic bottle. A gift from the family of my German exchange student. They picked this one because of the plastic bottle, and sent it through the mail. An interesting brew and one I would never find on this side of the pond. Had this on New Years Day. A good way to start the new year, trying a rare sample such as this. Definitely a hefe, though a mild one, and according to the label, brewed in accordance with the German Reinheitsgebot. Not among the better German hefes but drinkable and a decent flavor.

Plastic bottle. 13 days past ‘best before’. Pour clear golden-amber with a big white head. Sweetish yeasty aroma. Dull sweetish yeast flavour with some sourish notes. Slightly bitter with grassy notes and a dryish touch in the finish. Faint notes of plastic as well. 25-07-06.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 bierkoning (8944) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2006
Plastic PET-bottle. Mandarin aroma that seems rather artificial. A vegetable-like yeasty bitterness in the flavor, that offsets the apparent fruit character. Thinnish, cheap and not good.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (10754) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 18, 2005
Bottled. Orange color with large off-white head. Unclear and fizzy. Mostly banana in aroma. Fruity banana flavor with some acidity. A little too thin. (051210)
