Warbird Lightning Ale

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was astringent straw like and grassy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The weak flavor contained notes of straw and was astringent. Not one that I would likely buy again.

Draft at Mad Anthony Oktoberfest. White head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. Malty and hoppy nose and ditto for the flavor. Tingly and somewhat of a dry mouthfeel. Light body. Just so-so.

tap - Mild aroma with some light malt and hops. The flavor is mostly malt and a little on the grainy side. The body is light and bubbly on the palate and the finish is mildly dry and clean. It’s okay, but bland.
