SSSteve (2042), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 27, 2009 12oz bottle. clear bronzy gold under a small white head. dull apple juice aroma with absolutely nothing else favorable. flavor is of cookie and caramel. not a bright blond whatsoever. creamy palate is a plus. hints of caramel malt late on the tongue. i thought the irish was much better. ucusty (1865), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Oct 22, 2009 Light amber pour. Aroma of honey and hops. Malty with some notable hoppy flavors dchmela (1406), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2009 Thanks to Ian for the bottle. Nice gold pour with a thick white head. Veyr mellow creamy taste and very sessionable. Goes down pretty smooth. Decent blonde. Braudog (3732), Dayton, Ohio, USA Oct 4, 2009 Bottle. Surprisingly deep and dark, with a head that clings to the glass for dear life. Absent much aroma, this is a mellow, sessionable drinker -- a nicely balanced malty brew, with an artistic touch. This is what kills me about Ratebeer and why I don’t give it much attention any more -- this is a very, very well made beer. But because it’s not 12% ABV and doesn’t have a pile of some crazy ingredient in it, the 51 other nimrods who’ve commented on it leave it sitting at at 15 percentile overall. Ridiculous. (#3694, 10/4/2009) shigadeyo (2210), Harrison, Ohio, USA Jul 25, 2009 10/17/2007: Mustang Gold has some toasty/graham-like malt, a touch of honey and hops, and is actually pretty flavorful. It is light, but not too bad overall. It is clear, golde in color, and has a foamy off-white head and a moderate level of carbonation. Overall this is a nice American Golden Ale.

dkoonce (879), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Jul 8, 2009 Pours light straw, with a medium head that holds well. Heavy malt aroma, with not hop presence. Plain, raw grain. Flat finish. Nothing special. Block (363), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jun 28, 2009 Pale gold pour. Aroma of pale malts, corn and bread. Can’t honestly distinguish this from a blond ale which has been brewed with rice or corn. Very similar aroma and flavor. shawnm213 (841), South Bend, Indiana, USA Jun 11, 2009 pours a clear golden with a small white head. notes of spices, grass, bread. This wasn’t very good.
