Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Aug 18, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF. Amber gold with a decent off white head. A reasonable balance of grassy hop and caramel malt. Rather sweet in the mouth with faint notes of hazelnut. Sweet again in the finish that is a little too swift and uneventful. maeib (3959), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 13, 2008 Bottled - GBBF 2008. A light amber coloured beer with an off-white coloured head. The aroma is fruity with caramel notes. The taste has more caramel together with toffee. Nutty and a bit bockish. Fairly ordinary. rkuhnel (1102), Eureka, California, USA Aug 9, 2008 Served at Biaggi’s in Fort Wayne, this poured a clear amber with small white head and and light lacing. Noise of caramel malts and some floral hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet malts, light floral and grassy hops, and some aromas of wood or nuts. Sweet finish. Would make a great session beer. Ethereal (894), London, Greater London, England Aug 9, 2008 Bottle at GBBF 08. Coppery amber with a hoppy aroma. Malty flavour but a bit quick on the palate. oh6gdx (5903), Vaasa, Finland Aug 8, 2008 Bottled. Amber colour, big foamy beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some raisins and fruits along with yeast.
