milewide (500), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jul 7, 2008 Dark amber color was darker than most pale ales. More than usual bitterness for a pale ale. Medium body.
fiver29 (327), Strongsville, Ohio, USA Oct 7, 2008 Bottle pours light amber/red color with off white head. Has a medium body with a little bit of carbonation. Head laces the glass as you drink it. Has grassy aromas mainly. Flavor is pretty awful. Has grassy flavors with alcohol taste dominating throughout. Overall this has flavors I dislike in this style and way too much alcohol. Magic_dave6 (4010), London, Greater London, England Sep 17, 2008 Bottle at GBBF with the table of double fisting banter. Alround rating: Decent balanced pale ale, grassy fruity hops, pale biscuity malts, perhaps a bit too much alcohol. WakeandBake (89), Greenville, Michigan, USA Sep 6, 2008 Bottle. Copper color pour, with a nice off white head that stays around till the end. A very nice floral hop aroma. The slightly sweet malt and Cascade hops give this real balance, and a nice mouth feel I throughly enjoyed this offering, and plan to buy again. Thank You jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 @Indiana Beerfest-pours a offwhite head and copper color. Aroma is northwest hops, faint medium malt. Taste is northwest hops-Amarillo, some cascade, secondary medium malt. zombywoof (306), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Aug 29, 2008 Dark amber with some lacing and fine bubles in head. Sweet caramel malt and grassy herbal aroma. Resiny hops are present as well as some earthy and fruity notes. OK if somewhat understated. Nothing that memorable here.
