0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Amber color. Sweet mellow toasty, nutty and toffeish aroma. Sweet toasty, nutty and bready flavor with some toffee and caramel notes. Light to medium body, drinkable. Tasty dunkel with good drinkability.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rubinrotes-braunes Bier mit dezent flacher, feiner Krone, die gut lange haltbar ist. Der Geruch ist dezent malzig, aber viel erriecht man nicht. Der Antrunk ist sehr angenehm röstig mit kräftigem Malzkörper. Ein wenig Karamell spielt im Hintergrund mit. Der Verlauf wird hopfenbetonter und die herbe Note nimmt deutlich zu. Trotzdem bleibt der Malzkörper dominant. Der Abgang offenbart sich röstmalzig, angenehm süßlich, ich erahne ein wenig Honig. Bislang konnte mich noch kein Warburger Bier vollstens überzeugen. Dieses hier ist zwar gut trinkbar, aber zur vollen Überzeugung fehlts noch!

Hopfiger Geruch mit malzigen Einflüssen. Malziger Start. In der Mitte würziger, süßlich, aber auch etwas verdünnt wirkend. Malzig-würziger, kräftig und damit im Abgang wieder positiver.

Separiert herb startet das Bier, lange kommen keine andere Aromen hinzu. Auch als die Herbe trockener wird und andere Noten dringend von Nöten wären um das Bier auszugleichen bemerkt man nichts, nach dem Antrunk endet dieses Bier. Mit der Zeit süßlicher. Ungenügend.

Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, dusty, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, light light metalic. [20091018]

Bottle. (trade with papsoe) Pours a nice, clear, deep golden body under a small, off-white head. Malty, bready aroma with a little DMS and some fruityness. Caramel-dominated flavor with a little roasted note, some fruityness and a weak bitterness. Medium body. The finish has caramel and some bitterness. I like the flavor of the beer, and that’s the most important part of the experience, but the aroma also plays a significant part, and that’s not too good. (071205)

Bottle. [Thanks to Papsoe] Average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted. Clear flat looking body with a light brown color. Spare lacework. Aroma of caramel, grain, hint of butter, hay, fruit and bread. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Sweet finish.
