Commercial Description:
A light ruby coloured bitter using crystal and chocolate malts, with Golding hops providing the smooth, slightly spicy taste. This ale is conditioned and stored in casks for at least 2 months before being bottled in the old-fashioned hand bottling process.

Bottle @<a href=http://ratebeer.com/forums/thisted-kalder---%F8lsmagning-den-1204_87119.htm target=_new> Thisted Tasting by Maria.. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, moderate yeasty, soap - chees, sewer / drain. Flavor is moderate sweet, acidic and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

Bottle. It looks decent in the glass, with a clear, dark golden body and a small off-white head, but the aroma isn’t good. Sewer and horseblanket dominating, but was fortunately not as evident in the mouth. The beer has certainly gone wrong, it is quite sourish, as well as there’s sweetness and toffee, the latter two probably what it should taste. Dusty, medium-full mouthfeel, and a finish with toffee and sourness. Somehow drinkable, but it is a drainpour. (080412)

Tasting my place. Courtesy of Yngwie & Gunnfryd. Bronze with a nice head. The aroma is very unpleasant and like a sewer with hints of barnyard. The flavour is very weird. The sewer is very weak, but I find notes of sea weed, salt, malt, citrus, sourness and the finish is dry. I do not hope this is like it’s supposed to be.

Clear amber of color with a small white head. An aroma of sour notes, caramel, oak and apples. A flavor of dusty, sour and oak - must be infected.
