UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Can 50 cl) Not sure Iím in the right spot for this. My can only reads "Warka" and 6,2% ABV. And even though the cool Warka website gives you a shitload of information, itís not about their beers and only in freaking Polish. Anyways, this lager is neatly golden with a small, creamy head. Very soft and pleasant and pretty low in carbonation. Not much body to carry the strong alcohol, but itís no problem as this goes down easily. An OK strong lager. 140604

From a can. Best by Jan 22, 2005. This poured a bright gold with a thin white head. Lightly sweet nose with a hint of apples. There are also some green beans. The taste is lightly malty with some interesting notes of sweet carrots and a hint of black pepper spice. Not a bad lager.

Well it wasnt horrible. I though I would start out by saying something nice. Sampled from the can it smelled like dishwashing detergent?. I detected some grassy hay flavors and a bit of orange. Its not total swill just a bland lager really.

Can: Actually, not a bad lager. Itís a bit sweet and too lightly hopped for my liking, but seems bereft of micro-swill type adjuncts.

Bottled(500ml). -quite ordinary beer, very vain metalic and hoppy aroma for 5.6%ABV, too sweet flavor, bitter finish
Earlier Rating: 12/21/2002 Total Score: 2.5
Bottled(500ml). -there is nothing special about this average beer except the nice hop aroma

Golden with a frothy white head. Light hops and a slight bitter. semi sweet brown sugar flavour. Not bad at all!

Can. Golden-yellow with white head. Slightly hoppy aroma with some sourness. Notes of (baking) yeast. Not a lot of flavour - cereals and alcohol. Slightly metallic - probably from the can. Not bad as such, but nothing special either.

Poured a deep amber from the bottle, with a nice head that didnít last. Lightly hopped, with a rather bitter taste that didnít linger. Tastes better than I make it sound, somewhat unusual.

Bad sour smell, nice golden looks. Decent sweetish taste, but no lasting flavour to speak of. Bland.

Canned. Deep yellow, low, bubbly white head. Corn in both aroma and taste, lightly hopped. Almost no aftertaste. There is nothing special about this euro-lager, not bad, not good. Just boring...
