Hop malt aroma with chemicals. Red amber colour clear with fair head and lacing. Bitter hop malt flavour. Flat palate.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 JesseM (918) - Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 27, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2009 500ml bottle. Pours a nice deep golden colour, a little bit amber, with a large, rocky white head. Aroma, wow, unlike any other lager I have had. Huge caramalts, some grassy hops, toffee, bread, some alcohol, and even a touch of roasty malts. Nice! Taste, quite well balanced, but generally loaded on malts. This baby is actually fairly complex! Same things I described in the aroma, but magnified. The only unpleasant aspect is the alcoholic flavour in the finish, but it’s by no means over powering. The aftertaste is like some sort of weird Polish malted barley buffet. Toasty, bready, caramalty, crisp, insanely drinkable for 7 percent ABV. Nice fuller mouth feel. This is definitely subject to some pretty lame prejudices in many other ratings which gives it its unjustly low score. You guys suck, this is a unassuming gem.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 mike1977ok (1037) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2008
Lightly sweet aroma. Flavour is well balanced but does lack depth. This beer’s best attribute is it’s quite thick, smooth texture making it really easy to drink. Slightly sweet flavour and clean aftertaste.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 ekstedt (3624) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2008
Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Deep golden with a medium short-lived white head. Earthy malt aroma with some dusty hops. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Ok balance with an initial sweetness followed by a faint but long-lasting bitterness. Not bad.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 thenick (766) - North Bellmore, New York, USA - FEB 19, 2008
Bottle. Pours a brownish-gold color with a fluffy but quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma was heavy malt with just a hint of dark fruit included. Taste was malt, dark fruit, with a hint of honey and vanilla. Hops barely detectable, though there was a slight, crisp finish. Nothing spectacular, but I really enjoyed this.

500ml bottle. Gold with a loose cream head; slightly fruity aroma with a touch of apricot; chewy vanilla flavour and a slightly sour finish.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalhead (606) - Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA - FEB 3, 2008
UPDATED: APR 6, 2009 Deleted my first rating. Must have been a bad batch or something.
The beer is not complex nor impressive. What it it IS is mildly sweet aroma. Mild sweet taste with a hint of caramel and honey. Goes down very easy. Me Likey.
