COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is of a beautiful dark golden colour with a deep lustre. It has the color of honey and the transparency of spring water, as well as an excellent body and taste. It is very well saturated with carbon dioxide and has a pleasant, noble hops bitter, as well as a unique malt-hops taste.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2005 Bottle (500ml) - shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc at tupalev’s domicile - provided by GregClow. Poured very bubbly gold with an average slightly off-white head. Aroma sharply fruit-sweet, dusty, alcohol very aggressive after a bit of warming. First taste was a pleasing honey-sweetness with some grain balance, then the hops came in (medium), some fruity graininess, then the alcohol muscled in and stomped on everything else. Tangy and lively mouthfeel (mostly the alcohol), but too harsh on the linger - cut that booze burn down and this might be a pleasant lawnmower beer. (Extra point for the surprising honey note on first taste)

Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Clear orange-golden color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet coffee, sugar, caramel, toffee. Pretty weird. Average body and carbonation.

Gyllene i färgen med offwite skum. Doftar och smakar riktigt obalanserat med alkohol unken malt, alkoholsötma och vått hö på slutet.

Actually had this one twice in as 500 ml. can & both times didn’t write down enough info from the can in order to place my rating on here. This was still part of my early ticking days, pre-RB so this goes back the first 200 ratings or so. Funny thing the second time around, I had the can again with the explicit reason of rating it, figured I memorized the name well enough in order to rate this & threw away the can – turns out I was wrong. I don’t have notes anymore from that period, still figure I will just tick it now that I have found it. There is not much point of re-rating it properly this is a macro Polish lager, so you can figure out what you are in. Tried it way back with some others of it count, this one was not top but towards top. Still this isn’t much of a fine brew but if you will buy it, you will get exactly what you came for which is not bad, I suppose.

Initially quite a pleasant taste with a balanced bitterness that soon turns into a long, sweet aftertaste with a little too strong dominance of alcohol.

Low aroma - with some floral character, but predominantly pilsner malt. Clear golden in appearance, very thin head, very little lacing. Thin bodied. Not much to the taste, some fruity-ness comes through and blends with a boozy-finish. Well balanced beer, but largely uninteresting.

Aroma is yeast, citrus and a hint of malts. The flavor is medium grain/malt sweetness, fruit undertones and a mild hop bitterness in the finish.
