Excellent beer. High level of alcohol and sweet taste makes a powerful combination. Highly recommended!

I was really impressed with this lager. The most pleasant flavor was the malts. You could actually taste the caramel malts heavily on the palate without being overly sweet. Best Polish lager by far.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2009 500ml bottle. Pours a nice deep golden colour, a little bit amber, with a large, rocky white head. Aroma, wow, unlike any other lager I have had. Huge caramalts, some grassy hops, toffee, bread, some alcohol, and even a touch of roasty malts. Nice! Taste, quite well balanced, but generally loaded on malts. This baby is actually fairly complex! Same things I described in the aroma, but magnified. The only unpleasant aspect is the alcoholic flavour in the finish, but it’s by no means over powering. The aftertaste is like some sort of weird Polish malted barley buffet. Toasty, bready, caramalty, crisp, insanely drinkable for 7 percent ABV. Nice fuller mouth feel. This is definitely subject to some pretty lame prejudices in many other ratings which gives it its unjustly low score. You guys suck, this is a unassuming gem.

For what is essentially malt liquor, I found this beer to be remarkably good. Its sweetness and pungence remind me of a decent barleywine, at a very good price.

You can actually feel that there is more alcohol in it - this doesn’t necessarily create exceptional taste, but there is a kick to it.

500ml can. A rather malty aroma. Amber colour with short lasting white head. Flavour is caramelly and very sweet, which is to my liking. The slight alcohol tang is almost drowned in the sweet maltiness. Drinks very easily and is not too carbonated. Very malty palate with slight hoppiness at the end.
