Tipsy_McStager (818), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Dec 28, 2007 Light malty aroma. Pours copper with minimal head. Suprisingly and overwhelmingly sweet. Has a metallic and somewhat licorice aftertaste. Not an exciting product.
heavy (459), Split, Croatia Aug 17, 2008 13/08 0.5 l bottle from a gas station near Warszawa. This poured darker golden (golden-brown) body with medium sized but short living head. Aroma is quite weak, but sweetish malt can be easily distinguished from some grassy hops and a touch of alcohol. Flavor pretty boring, foul sweetish, with sourish notes of hops. Also some odd dry bitterness making it so strange. Finish is alcoholic with some odd malt notes. Boring one, sure there can be worser, but this one seems so unnecessary. Doggythedog (940), Split, Croatia Aug 14, 2008 0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Poland (thanks!) Poured a white medium to small head that didn’t vanish immediately on top of a bronze like dark gold-brown body pierced by lively, uneven cdarbonation. Dusty hop nose gets oily before delivering a shot of alcohol. The taste defies the name of the beer being, in fact, weak, dry, but loaded with alcohol again. Tiny acidic hop. Crappy maltiness. No, I don’t like it. The two I’ve had a few days ago beat this into a pulp. AWS9 (121), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Aug 9, 2008 500 mL bottle. Sweet, sticky aroma. Dark orange with bubbly, receding head. Sweet honey/caramel malt taste. I found it tasting a little similar to Innis & Gunn... Extra alcohol is not noticeable, this is pretty well balanced. Pretty good, nothing special. Sticky is probably the best description I have for it, though not in a particularly negative way. sebletitje (242), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2008 50cl bottle.
Pours amber thin white head.
Aroma of fruits and caramel.
Taste the same, dark fruits (possibly raisin / fig) and light caramel malt.
Enjoyable beer, but nothing spectacular. KimJohansen (3026), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jul 22, 2008 Sweet aroma with chemical and caramel notes. Sweet fruity flavor with caramel malt and alcohol notes. Sweet boozy end.
