Can from a trade. Nose is silky chocolate with a faint coffee grind and grainy note. Pretty inviting. Taste is initially bitter followed by a creamy dark cocoa flavor that is smooth without being overly sweet. Starts to taste a little acidic after a few sips. Decent.

Dark beer with a thin beige slick for a head. Chocolate, vanilla and molasses sweetness in the nose. Nice full mouth feel. Lots of sweet chocolate, vanilla, roasted grains, with a bit of cold stale coffee in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
APPEARANCE - perfectly black. Hardly any head, thin head ring around the edge of the glass after a couple minutes.
NOSE - light scent of coffee, not mu children else.
FLAVOR - slightly bitter, coffee flavors become apparent as the glass warms up.
NOTES - good coffee roasty stout. Seems more focused on abv than complexity of flavor. Pretty standard dry stout with coffee notes.
(I read after the fact it’s supposed to be a sweet stout ;) ).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Look - No head to speak of. Would be white if there. No lacing. Dark brown body.
Smell - Sweet coffee and chocolate. Slightly bitter.
Taste - Chocolate. Coffee. Nutty. Light bitterness.
Feel - Watery, not "10 ton". Little to no alcohol. Smooth.
Overall - Not exactly what the name entails but not horrible. One of the first warped wing beers I’ve had.

4th and last can. I am sorry but these guys need help. Nice color and aroma got some dark malts and chocolates. Thin mouth feel. Flavor had dome serious tin action going that made this beer miserable.

In a pint can. Dark black brown opaque liquid with very little head. Earthy cocoa nose with just a smidge of coffee bitters. Tastes just a bit of dark chocolate with a nice roasted malt base. Body is silky.

Albeit a tad thin, I enjoyed this toasted and roasted oatmeal offering. Good to try new beer from our neighbors up north. 1 pint can pour.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour out of 16 oz can, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of big cocoa, chocolate, coffee, hints of dark fruit, slight brownie, into slight roasted malt, hints of almost a bit of caramel and molasses. Taste is a mix of nice roast, coffee, chocolate into an unfortunate ashy note, some slight caramel, hints of spice, finishing slightly sweet, ashy. Without the ashy note it is an excellent stout.
