2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Woah, this is "herb" indeed! Lots of hops in the nose, and great hoppy bitterness! The body could be a bit thicker, but otherwise a nice hoppy experience.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Overhopped chalky lager, tastes strongly of hop extract. not as good as the regular Warsteiner, which itself is on the overly hoppy side for its class...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I finally got my hands on this one, in a small grocery in Berlin. Doppelt gehopft! The regular Warsteiner, to me, tastes under-hopped, even relative to other German beers, subdued and not bitter enough, so this one didn’t taste hoppy by US standards (nothing like an IPA or even most APA’s), the level of hops actually tasted more balanced to me. Good, and much better than the default Warsteiner, but I still prefer most German or Czech pilsners to this one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On bottle from a Rewe in Frankfurt. Clear golden color, good foa,.Light aromas of hops, some fruitiness, also some boiled vegetables. Light body & complexity. Very good bitterness, balances well. Quite decent pilsener, the extra hops are appriciated.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thick white head. Aroma of slightly crispy, slightly metallic hops, somewhat spicy and quite mild for a ’doppelt gehopft’ pilsener. Flavor is watery bitter pilsener. Not bad, but nothing more than an ordinary pilsener.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Appearance: Light yellow with a smallwhite head., poor retention.
Aroma: Sweet light malts and Grains ???
Taste: Sweet malts and some grains, only a slightly more bitter herbal finish then your average mass brewed pilsner. Not much offtastes but nothing standing out posiive as well.
thin watery body,average carbonaion
average, with watery mouth feel, finish is nothing but bitter and leaves a bitter taste on the tongue. More exciting than the normal Warsteiner, but against the advertising absolutely nothing special or tasty.
Double the hops, But if it was allmost zero from the start then it’s sill not significant.. Dissapointing and you would expec a bit more from this.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle bought in Germany. Double the amount of hops, but still not that significant. Far away from most craft beer when it comes to the amount of hops.
