Heavy fizz in this one, guys. A little bit of bitter carbonation on the nose and taste, but with a nicely balanced flavor to round it out. Worth trying for sure.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
poured from a 11.02 oz. dark brown glass bottle (nice and cold) into a dimpled mug. an unassuming aroma; a color depth between gold and tan; a most scrumptious taste; light palate and over it all, i like this. wish this marzen would be available year’round, round here, but it ain’t. so, when it is here, take advantage.
cheaper, too, than them other marzens are, too.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear rich gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is pure golden toast and blonde grains with a very full Pilsner biscuitiness. Full palate with a big golden toast and biscuit flavor, Pilsner malts and German grass hops with low bitterness and lots of bread notes.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Clear dark yellow. Good layer of lingering head. Corny nose. Tastes of bright yeastiness, mild corn, mild European hops. Very light for an oktoberfest, even for Germany.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2014 A tasty, sessionable Oktoberfest for the price. Uncomplicated but tasty. Balanced flavor with a malty beginning and crisp hoppy finish. Hops are a bit more pronounced as it warms. Hides the alcohol well for 6% in a fairly light beer. Not the best Oktoberfest out there but it?s certainly the best in the price range.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a bottle that showed 5.9% abv. Drank warm and it was the best warm beer I have had. One of those rare malty & full bodied while being extremely easy to drink beers. Very good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I’m at an Oktoberfest, and they swear this in the warsteiner Oktoberfest, but it has a very easily notable citrus and corriander nose and flavor. Nice, full mouthfeel. Murky copper golden pour with a short-lived off-white head.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Aroma smells like Warsteiner. Pale golden color. Tastes mostly like Warsteiner, but a little maltier. Light to medium body. Average beer overall. Not as malty as most Oktoberfest beers.
