Bottle. The pour was a medium crystal clear amber/orange with an average sized (1-2 finger) rocky head that dissipated quickly and had poor lacing. The aroma was kind of sweet with a strong grain malt, a mild floral hop and a sweet moldy scented yeast that had a very mild hint of caramel. The taste was malty sweet and mildly acidic in the beginning and finished slightly bitter with a sweet caramel malt flavor and had a mild alcohol tinge at the end, The flavor stuck around for a decent amount of time after the swallow allowing for further enjoyment of the malty sweetness. Mouthfeel was light in body and mildly dry in texture with a prickly carbonation. Overall a brew that somewhat is in alignment with the style, although it was a little light in flavor for a typical Märzen.

Stein plus a pint at the Bohemian Biergarten. Clear amber appearance with an off-white head. Aromas and flavors of caramel, toffee and nutty malts linger to a light hoppy finish. Smooth, soft and well-balanced overall.

Bottle. Clear, deep golden color with a thick bubbly head. Nose is candy caramel, corn, light hops. Sweet and a bit cloying flavor with a touch of caramel and what seems like Munich malts. Uninteresting.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep golden with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops and bready malt. Body is medium and crisp. Grassy hops, biscuit malt fill the mouth. Finish is medium and semi-dry. OK brew.

Rating #1966 - 2015.09.26 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 3, Beer 67 - Draught at Taphouse Grill. Aroma has a hint of malty sweetness, and a strong grassy whiff. Medium carbonation. Bubbly, dry mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Light bitterness in the finish, quite smooth. Expected fuller body and a little darker colour in an oktoberfest. This is pretty uninspired.

Draft at Die Bierstube. Bittering, sweet. Touch syrupy lager, ok grain bittering over light color and tall, heavy cream. Ok drinker.

tfontana (695) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 29, 2016
Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Downtown Discount Beverage. Aroma is noble hops, champagne-like yeast, and bready malt. Appearance is clear golden yellow with nice sparkle, 1/2 finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and light lacing. Taste is lightly sweet fruit with noble hop bitter 2nd half. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with sticky texture, lively carbonation and light bitter finish. Overall, it’s fine but doesn’t have a lot of heft to it.
