haven’t drank to many dunkels but this was tasty. dark color and malty finish

Not a huge fan but its not too bad to drink. Drink with food.

I am not overly impressed by this beer, but I am not at all offended, either. It has a solid, simple taste that hints at nuts and chocolate. OK.

A very light German Dunkel. Not bad for the price, but a very simple flavor on the palate.

Decent brew. Very smooth, but not very complex. Sweet malts in the taste, finish of burnt tobacco and brown sugar. quaffable.

First impression... Nutty and somewhat roasty but not very complex. Dark brown with red hint. Smooth and fairly good finish. Excellent to use as a gulper.

i am not very impressed with this beer but it isn’t really a bad beer either. all i can say is it is a very dark beer with a decent head

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2007 This is supposed to be just like Isenbeck. Tastes great and would be a daily drinker if it was cheaper and more accessible. Pretty damn good dark lager. Re-rate: This one is not quite as good as I once thought. No complaints, a nice light bodied and refreshing beer that I will have again however nothing special.

I thought that it was pretty good. It almost tasted like tootsie rolls I think or at least from what I remember.

quite disappointing. nice toasty aroma and dark color but this was a very flat and somewhat tasteless beer. not much to separate this from a bland lager except the color
