Not much of an aroma. What was there wasn't appealing. Pours a very light yellow, head weak. Not much in the body, plastic tasting finish. Avoid...

cAPSLOCK (155) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 9, 2003
Every country has to make a straw colored light, 'innofensive' beer. This is one of Germany's. But in the general category this one is good for a couple reasons... The finish is complex, and the hops linger in a dry happiness, and the aroma is amazing. The beer has a very flowery smell.

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2003
Yummy hay-juice hoppiness, deliccious, also quite malty. A bit thinner than necessary. Of course clear light golden with a huge fluffy protypical head. Not so bad!

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2004 Aroma is very nice and reminds me of good nights in Austria drinking large glasses of Warsteiner. As I look at this glass, it cries out, "Drink me! Oh, Drink ME!" So you know I have to. Mmmm the flavour is very pleasant and enjoyable and brings back terrific memories. The flavour is very wheaty. I should mention that this is a 5 liter keg we are drinking from, so this really helps. I don't understand why other raters don't give this a higher rating. This is GREAT fresh and from a keg! Listen to me. This is great stuff. Try it! The more you drink it the more you get a taste for it and you get a chance to sort out its complex flavours. 30.5% really does not give this beer justice. It is wonderful from a keg, trust me on this, and in a large Pilsener glass it looks so attractive. I give this quite a high rating.

Pale yellow, lots of carbonation. Typical fare of a mass produced German lager.

Gold color. Mild aroma. Follows through with a medium-body palate. Very drinkable. One of my favorites.

TChrome (1418) - Bedford, Texas, USA - MAY 27, 2003
This is I think, good beer for the syle. I think it is intersting that all of the very highly rated beers are those with high ABV and many layers of flavors. This is a good pils. Not in the calibur of Victory Prima, however, it is good for the style. Has light hop aroma, pours up medium head that does not dissipate completely. Kinda fizzy. Has a nice light hop flavor. Good for hot summer days.

hotstuff (4096) - Indiana, USA - MAY 20, 2003
This pilsner poured a medium head that dissolved quickly. The carbonation could be seen rising to the top. It had a fruity aroma. The body was yellow. It had a bitter taste and an aftertaste that lingered.

Hysteria (38) - USA - MAY 18, 2003
Clear, light gold color. Mild aroma. Thin head. Nothing remarkable in the flavor although easy to drink. Much better if you can find it on draft.
