Short lived head. VERY pale in color almost looks watered down. Was very carbonated and hoppy with bitter aftertaste. Tast just like Miller Lite to me.

CEZ (397) - Milano, ITALY - FEB 18, 2003
Clear in color, with a lot of bubbles coming up and a medium-sized white head (define pilsner). This one has just enough flavor and a balanced malt/hops combination: refreshing but not too watery. Satisfying finish. I usually like this kind of beers, and this one is OK for me.

   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
Probiere (992) - Iowa, USA - FEB 17, 2003
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2003 A sweet aroma and an odd, distinctive taste. Finishes rather dry. Not sure if this quite representative of the style, but I do like it. Quite drinkable alone; a nice change of pace from more complex beers.

Diablokev (146) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - FEB 16, 2003
The aroma is sweet and hoppy. The appearance is a light gold, with a thick creamy head. The flavor is hoppy, sweet, with a light bitter aftertaste. The beer is smooth and easy to drink. Overall nice.

BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 15, 2003
Odd taste. The pour reveals a golde colour with a frothy head. Aroma is malty and something I can't describe. Taste is unique, why I don't really know. Finish is subtle yet forgettable.

I am definitely not a fan of this one. Weak in flavor and not an attractive color, in my opinion. I'll pass on this...

UPDATED: APR 14, 2008 Fresh tasting. not bitter and light. I can tell it is German by its quality but it is not quire as exciting as the Hacker Pshorre line.. Much better then most domestics.though.

Pale golden color witha lacey head. Perfectly clear with small bubbles. A touch skunky with some malts and a little wheaty taste.

This beer could have been a whole lot better, no bitterness very very mellow. I have had much better german pilsner. Thin to almost no head and a very pale yellow coloration.

Uglyradio (791) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - FEB 5, 2003
This one pours a clear, golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is mildly sweet and slightly hoppy. The body is light, flavor is sweetly malty, with a crisp and dry finish. This is a good thirst quencher, and much better than a lot of macro domestics. This is drinkable, but is somewhat bland in flavor.
