2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Grassy and lemony aroma; somewhat on the sweet side, initially, finishes a tad dry and simple; crispy, clean, and drinkable

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear straw-yellow in color with decent white head. Slightly malty aroma with a little hops. Good balance in the flavor as well. Nice, crisp, and refreshing. There are much better Pilseners out there, but I don’t think this is as bad of an example of many of the other raters.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very mediocre I thought. Pale Ale fans might like it though. I was surprised by the fruity hoppiness of this beer. Poured very watery looking. Nice sized white head. Palate was decent with fairly bitter finish. If this is the "Classic German Pilsener" German beers are in trouble. Quite disappointing.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22 Oct 2004 - Simple slight fruit sweet aroma. Clear yellow colour, suds lacing lowish head. Simple ordinary but pleasant euro trash flavour. Easy drinking palate that lingers a little.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Served at 44.5° in my Duvel tulip. Light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is slightly lemony, with some hops notes. There is a small malt presence with a mild fruit/citrus taste. There is a touch of bitterness (not much) and the finish is clean. I don’t much care for Pilsener’s, but this is pretty good for one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light golden color, small white head, sweet aroma. Light to medium malt flavor quickly dissipates, sharp initial taste of hops, seemed strong in carbonation, not a full bodied brew. This is a good tasting beer when I am in the mood for a lighter taste than my usual stronger flavored beer.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
The bottle poured a pale golden crystal clear liquid. There was a medium rocky head that dissipated quickly leaving little to no lacing. The aroma was uncomplicated with notes of malt and a slight floral character coming through. The flavor has a slight cat-pee bitterness at first. It has a smooth mouthfeel. The middle is bitter and dry and the finish mercifully doesn’t last long and is slightly bitter.

enjoyed at local restaurant,
served in warsteiner glass (I was impressed)
nice head and nose, complimented appetizer of toasted ravioli and crab dip well, clean crisp taste, good example of this type of beer, but nothing exceptional
Would drink again

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2013 The german equivalent to "Bud" ! Very watery, unpleasant "chemical" smell and nearly no traces of good - and expensive (!) - aromatic hops.
What’s the difference between a "Warsteiner" and sex on the beach ? There’s no difference; both is f...... near to water.......
