2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Surprised to see I havenít had this before. Sweet, citrusy, grassy aromas with a slight skunkiness. Transparent light light blonde color with a small quickly dissipating head. Could stand to be darker. Start is somewhat astringent and sour. Finishes a roasted maltiness. Kind of burnt in the finish. Ehhh...so so.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Sour malt aroma. Light yellow color with small collapsing head. Taste is much better - full flavored malt with nice mouthfeel and slight bitter finish. I was going to make a smart ass comment about Warsteiner being the German word for Bud but itís much better than that. Itís really a pretty good beer - only the aroma is a bit off.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden color with an ok head. Has a bitter than malty flavor to it, maybe even some citrus. A regular pilsner. I like it and sometimes find myself in the mood for it.

I didnít mind Warsteiner Dunkel, so I decided to try the original brand. Overall, not as impressed as the dunkel. Appearance-wise, it resembled pale lagers too closely. The taste was only slightly more distinguishable from the rest of the paler beers. I can say now that Iíve tried it, but if I want cheaper german beer, Iíll stick to Warsteiner Dunkel.

Pours a pale golden color. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Flavor is a little malty, some hops are present as well. Finish is a little grainy and spicey. Good pilsner.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle: Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Tastes like a standard pilsner without anything terribly remarkable about it. Not terrible, but not a beer that Iím going to search for either.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Drank from bottle at friends house. Hmm, this beer is like Hieneken but add double the skunkiness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A bit cloudy on the yellow side with a full head. Has a standard pilsner aroma and is a fairly full and sweet taste. Malt presence lends a nearly creamy feel to the finish along with some sourness.

Warsteiner was the first beer that I ever had. Fairly good taste. Hoppy. Not terribly complex, but there are mild tastes of fruit. All in all a middle of the road beer.
