Not bad at all. It was what I expected in a German beer. I agree with "By the 40" drink this out of a bottle for good results. Hey why wash another glass?

Voivod (304) - Como, ITALY - FEB 25, 2003
Golden colour, bubbly head, not persistent. The aroma is quite malty, just like the taste. Nice hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Refreshing, drinkable and pleasant, anyway...

LoveABeer (141) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 23, 2003
Has a nice light golden color, with a medium size, short lasting head. Faint aroma. Has a good bitterness taste to it, off lemon perhaps. An good all-rounder German Pils.

Well balanced taste, nice aroma. Good german beer. Some pleasant bitterness on finish.

Aurelius (4379) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 20, 2003
Drinkable. I like the tall, skinny bottles. This is a garden variety pils -- on the dry side with a thinnish palate, but it's an excellent cookout/summer brew.

Dermis (20) - Monona, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 18, 2003
Short lived head. VERY pale in color almost looks watered down. Was very carbonated and hoppy with bitter aftertaste. Tast just like Miller Lite to me.

CEZ (399) - Milano, ITALY - FEB 18, 2003
Clear in color, with a lot of bubbles coming up and a medium-sized white head (define pilsner). This one has just enough flavor and a balanced malt/hops combination: refreshing but not too watery. Satisfying finish. I usually like this kind of beers, and this one is OK for me.

   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
Probiere (992) - Iowa, USA - FEB 17, 2003
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2003 A sweet aroma and an odd, distinctive taste. Finishes rather dry. Not sure if this quite representative of the style, but I do like it. Quite drinkable alone; a nice change of pace from more complex beers.

Diablokev (154) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - FEB 16, 2003
The aroma is sweet and hoppy. The appearance is a light gold, with a thick creamy head. The flavor is hoppy, sweet, with a light bitter aftertaste. The beer is smooth and easy to drink. Overall nice.
