I was disappointed by this one. Light flavor, pretty boring but not offensive.

Average brew from Germany, certainly not the best but worht a try. Very easy to drink light and crisp and a dry finish.

Definitely not one of my favourite German pilsners. Dry and skunky flavour.

My bottle had little or no head. Also, there was a funky aftertaste. Otherwise, this is an average brew.

Tastes like a slightly stonger version of Coors. Has a bit of an aftertaste but iniatially goes down smooth.

Translucent gold color. Fat head pretty rocky. Smells kinda like wonder bread. Crisp. Very dry finish. Eh.

Re-Rate 10/20/02: A clear light gold color on the pour, the head is mountainous, frothy, long lasting, and the lace gauzy. Nose is malt, clean and crisp. Front is malt, the top reedy, the finish is amazingly hopped for a pilsener, modest carbonation, and a very dry long lasting aftertaste. ’Lagers/Pils, will never be my beer(s) of choice, but this one is drinkable and a nice session beer. Ranks #914 on my current 1000 beer master list.

KingPinHead (390) - Des Moines, Washington, USA - OCT 19, 2002
Aroma light but sweet with floral hop accents. Color a pale gold with medium head. Flavor also features a sweet malt foundation and a well-rounded but mild hop top-end. Body is medium-light--appropriate to the style, and is very smooth. In sum, this is a very restrained offering, and one might want a little more assertive flavor, but the elements and balance here are good---a very decent German export beer.
