Pale blond colour, white frothy head, not lacing. Sweet hoppy soaplike aroma. Quite neutral initial flavour, moderately bitter in the end. Soft mouthfeel - drinks very easy.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2004 Bottle
Head is average and lacey. Pale golden colour. Not much aroma. Quite drinkable - some hops in the finish, neutral but not bad.
Aroma is hoppy. Light version of Urquell.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Paid: $1.02 for a 500 ml bottle; freshness date on back 13. MAI. 04
Very crisp and clear light golden. Looks pretty thin, but it's so clear I bumped it up .5; Very little head.
Not much of a smell... maybe a bit grassy, and smells like a hint of honey, but I could be imagining that.
Not much of a taste to be had, which might make this a good beer for someone just starting to move away from the mainstream.
Thin in the mouth, but this would make a good session beer, because it's light and unfilling. Definitely worth the buck and two pennies... but not much more than that.

Its a normal blode beer, nice to take with some peanuts, a frankfurt or "tapas". The only think to comment... a fine bitter final taste... recomendable

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught: pale yellow water. . . grainy and wheaty with some semblance of malt in the background and some dry hops in the finish. Mediocre at best, but could be better fresh.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I go to a bar that keeps this on hand for me. I am the only one who orders it, but I like it. Little to no aftertaste, good aroma, and is enjoyable to drink with a bar meal. One of my favorites.

Ahh The Queen of beers. Very good brew, a notch above becks and heine. If you just feel like tossing a few decent beers back this is the one.

Straw coloured German pilsner with a grassy aroma. Very little head but decent carbonation and moderate bitterness, refreshing. (500ml can)

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Very nice appearance, taste is good. I was a bit put off at how bitter and dry it was, however. If someone handed one to me, I'd be content.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Mild grain aroma and flowery hops. Clear golden colour with plenty of bubbles and thick white head that sticks to the sides of the glass as it recedes. Mild bitterness and gentle cereal flavour with a slight sweetness and subtle pepperiness in the finish.Body is very light and refreshing. This a very good if somewhat simple beer. Bottle.
