Clean and crisp in flavor. No head retention. Nice yellow color. Typical for this style. Pleasant to drink.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amazingly, I was up for sampling a few beers the night after the Fort Wayne tasting. Had this on tap at the Steinkeller in Oxford, OH. Nothing remarkable or interesting. Clear straw-colored body, with a thin white head. Grassy, bitter hops aroma. Flavor was much the same, with grassy, bitter hops and a very light malt backbone. Thin-bodied and typical of foreign macroswill.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Warsteiner, a beer that I have consumed dozens of times, always a rather pleasant experience.
A golden Pils with a massive pillow of fluffy white head. The aroma is rather malty and sweet, honey, caramel, the flavor it almost the same experience but an with a noticeable addition of hops, Quit drinkable

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Really not a bad pilsner. Smell is minimal, and certainly not skunked. There is kind of a nice candy sugar taste in the palatte. This went well with my Italian food.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale yellow colour, small head fainting quickly. I could taste the alcahol wich is very rare for a beer that low in alcahol. Flavour is light, dry and hoppy.
Palate is not good, very simple.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2003 Light golden color. Noticeable about this beer is that it is very smooth and not very bitter for a german premium pilsener. Tastes more like Lager than like a Pilsener from the northern part of Germany. But still pretty nice. Re-rate: After having several of these in the last time, I also noticed the smoothness, which makes this a Pilsener that is enjoyable even after the 3rd and 4th one.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ah the Bud Light of Germany. Bottle. Light straw color, smells yeasty, no real strong scent at all. The taste is light and easily forgettable. Sweet in the roof of the mouth. No Good. Kind of like St Pauli NA. After warming in the glass did collect a redeeming bitterness that was quite welcome.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer had a very pungent, unpleasant aroma for such a pale yellow brew. I found it very difficult to drink... there are way better pilseners out there for much better prices.

drank one of those little kegs of this with a friend. ive had this beer many times over the past 2 years, just havent gotten around to rating it. i think this is way better than a 2.94 beer...weak aroma, good flavor, good drinking beer.
