Gold color. Mild aroma. Follows through with a medium-body palate. Very drinkable. One of my favorites.

This is I think, good beer for the syle. I think it is intersting that all of the very highly rated beers are those with high ABV and many layers of flavors. This is a good pils. Not in the calibur of Victory Prima, however, it is good for the style. Has light hop aroma, pours up medium head that does not dissipate completely. Kinda fizzy. Has a nice light hop flavor. Good for hot summer days.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 12/20
hotstuff (4392) - Indiana, USA - MAY 20, 2003
This pilsner poured a medium head that dissolved quickly. The carbonation could be seen rising to the top. It had a fruity aroma. The body was yellow. It had a bitter taste and an aftertaste that lingered.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 14/20
Hysteria (38) - USA - MAY 18, 2003
Clear, light gold color. Mild aroma. Thin head. Nothing remarkable in the flavor although easy to drink. Much better if you can find it on draft.

caledonian (367) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 9, 2003
Pale. White frothy head. Somewhat bitter. Fairly pleasant overall but nothing special.

Braudog (5965) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 27, 2003
Golden with a stark white head. Floral, sweet nose. Excellent body. Sweet, citrusy barley beauty with that good German citric ending.

WISEGUY572 (1373) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 27, 2003
An unimpressive example of what has become a favorite style. A cloudy golden wheat beer with nothing distinctive in taste or aroma. Not unpleasant in any way, but we can do so much better.

not bad at all. i bought some tonight because i had some German beer in a German resturant once (vitzen, or weitzen, or something) it wasn't as good and rich as that lage, but, MUCH preferable to Heinikin (sp)

A decent beer that's not too hard to find in Ohio.

Not a good example of a German beer, not much going on with this one, other than bitterness.
