Much better than Beck’s or Heineken, I think. Smoother at any rate. Pours blond with a tall foamy white head. Aroma is crisp and a bit grassy and mixed with some European hops. Gladly not skunked! Not too bad! Taste is carbonated and grassy. Some malt but generally pretty crisp and refreshing. A decent summer type beer or for whenever it’s hot. Finish is a bit sharp and the palate is carbonated. Not horrible but more an everyday refresher than a complex beer fan’s dream.

A great everyday beer. Good hoppy flavor. Everyone i have try it seems to like it. Costs is close to popular american beers. So why drink cheap beer as their slogan suggests?

Bottled. Looks like your choice on Lufthansa is Warsteiner or Becks. Warsteiner turned out to be just a notch above most beers of its kind. Its character actually lets the mild hop profile come through. Still hard to get past the fact that it looks and pours just like a Miller.

This time this one was on draft at Anthony’s. Great pour, surprisingly malty without being sweet. Great hops. Classic German Pils if poured correctly.

Always figured this for being more commercial than other German fare. After tasting I would have to say I had every reason to harbor those feelings.

This was better than the Classic German Pilsener St Pauli Girl because it didn’t smell like rotten crotch.

hey! great session beer! had this on tap... too bad they charge import prices for it. blahhhhhhhhh. exactly what i’d expect as a ’german standard’. more enjoyable than any american standard, but still a bit watery and lacking in flavor. sweet, malty. good for getting drunk.

This is a good Pilsener, smooth, easy drinking and enjoyable. It’s slightly bitter, hoppy, and easy to drink many.

Wierd grape bubblegum aroma. Flavor has a hazelnut-tootsie roll maltiness to it. Watery mouthfeel. Not good.
