Draught. Very light straw body with a 1.5 finger white head. Bitter on the front and the bitterness builds. Tastes like Budweiser. Warsteiner=’s German for "BMC". Blah.

clearish golden yellow. fluffy quickly fading head. this smells like a bud. this tastes like a bud, but with a worse finish. i’m not kidding, who would want to copy bud? overall very bitter

A decent tasting pilsener but nothing to rave about. There are hops in the flavor that leave a little bitterness in the finish. Other than that this is quite bland (but refreshing).

Boutip (5795) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 5, 2004
Bottle: Poured a golden beer with a small head with almost no retention. Aroma is very weak with small touch of malt and sweet coming out of my glass. Taste is also very weak, almost watery with no hops detectable. Very bland and boring pilsner. I guess this could be an OK session beer on a beach down south…

As with many comments on this brew, I follow suit that a pilsner is not my preferred style, but it turns out this was a pleasant surprise. It has a nice hop aroma, is well balanced with enough hops in a dry finish. A very good session candidate.

Soft and sweet taste. I enjoy the subtle hoppy flavour and fresh finish. This is an under-rated beer.

Very light in color. Small head flattens out quickley. Smells a bit sweet. Honey maybe and, yes, doughy. Taste is a bit thin, light, theres the honey again. Not much hops. Palate is like club soda. Not very interesting in general.

Very pale, doughy aroma. Sweet malts, low hops for a pilsener. The German Budweiser. Of course, since its Germany, its not actually bad.

A dry crisp beer with some dry grassy notes, a bitter middle. Similar to Bitberger
