light gold hue, small head, an average everyday beer, ok to me, slight aroma, smooth w/dry finish.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2005 Poured a light yellow in color ... I’d say pale gold, only it wasn’t quite deep enough. Thin, yeasty head. Aroma of sour malt and yeast. Flavor is run-of-the-mill Pils, nothing to write home about. Wasn’t very impressed by this one at all. Warsteiner’s dunkel is far superior.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2004 A very interesting and unique Pils. It’s color is very gold, golder than any Pils I’ve every seen. Perfect size head and a very unique taste. It is hardly bitter at all, which is interesting because most Pils are typically have a bitter taste. This makes Warsteiner very unique. It’s aftertaste is smooth and it not bitter at all. A overall very smooth, unique Pils.

12 oz. snap cap brown, longneck bottle. Best before date of 11 Aug 04. So, not the freshest beer I ever bought or drank. Poured out a golden yellow color, with a minimal white head. It quickly slid back to just a thin matting barely covering the top of the beer. Aromas are of faint malts, some residual sweetness, and yeast. Even though it’s a filtered beer, it still reeks of yeast. Slight DMS aromas are also evident. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Tastes are mostly of DMS, watery malts, and no hops. I can’t taste any hops in this beer at all. Too sweet and too mainstream for me.

Golen color, light head. This is more of an everyday beer, if that. Pretty average tasting, kinda dry.

Light gold color with minimal head when poured from a bottle. Mild aroma. Taste is, well..."average". No particular flavor stands out, which probably means the beer is well-balanced.. Nice hot weather beer.

Thin, light golden beer with a fair white head. Clean lager aroma with detectable hop fragrance. This is about the only thing that distinguishes it from American premium lagers. I’m pretty sure if you like Bud, then you will have no problem drinking this. I have no problem with it, as long as it is on sale.

Crystal clear light golden body w/ a lasting pure white head. Aroma is floral hop and clean grainy malt. Flavor’s well balanced throughout w/ a dry finish & clean hop flavored aftertaste. M/f is lighter bodied, highly carbonated and lightly biting from carbonation. Probably the BMC beer of Germany, but I’d take this over BMC anyday. Light, refreshing, and actually tastes like beer.
