2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle in Lufthansa lounge at DTW. Nose is yeast with some malt and floral notes. Pale yellow with white head. Taste is sweet caramel and toffee. The yeast from the nose is not as prominent in the taste. A small amount of floral hop bitterness shows in the finish. Mouth is rather thin with soft carbonation. Meh.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle on LH2480 from MUC to LHR, 26/01/14 - ticks a tick and I didn’t have to pay for this one!
Clear golden with a moderate white covering.
Nose is pale malts, cereals, grass, light citrus, corn, grain. I sniffed a little hard trying to get the aroma of this one and some beer went up my nose - perhaps the most interesting thing about this review!
Taste comprises pale malts, straw, cereals, grain, light mineral notes, faint vanilla, hint of lemon.
Medium bodied, fine ligthly spritzy carbonation, grassy closure with light bitterness.
Mediocre mass produced pils.

A rather normal pilsener with a normal clear yellow colour and a normal white lacing. Although a very refreshing beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Looks like a standard pilsner. Tastes and smells grain, malts and hops. Thin body, average carbo and a watery texture.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 oz bottle poured into a 6oz english tulip. Yeast is the primary aroma emanating from this one. Some minor floral and grassy notes appear faintly along with (maybe) some black pepper traces - but the yeast dominates. It pours a straw bubbly yellow with a soft whipped-egg-white foamy head. The taste is mellow sweet with some very light, light souring. Not much bitterness, although what’s there does come through at the finish. It’s a light bodied, dry, thin beer with active carbonation. On the tongue, some lemon citrus comes through initially which slips into a weak floral hoppy finish which then disappears quickly - mostly a clean finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle- Golden yellow with slight carbonation and a crystal white head. Light classic feel, crisp light taste. It is an ok brew that showcases a classic pilsner brew. The alcohol is masked nice.

Aroma of yeast, golden colour with a small head that dissipates quickly. Sweet taste of fired fruit. Lingering sweet palate.
