9/3 2015 On the flight from Munich to Tel Aviv. 33 cl bottle. Pours clear yellow with substantial white head which gradually settles to thin lacing. Aroma is pretty neutral with tartlike and bitter notes. Medium carbonation. Taste is fairly bitter with only a little fruity sweetness for balance. Like most beers brewed under the Rheinheitsgebot it is not very adventureous but quite solid.

This is one of my favorite german pils, mostly because of its availability in my area. I love the crispness of this beer, the nice hop taste with a great bite. It is refreshing and drinkable. It is my go to beer for most situations.

500ml BB Oct 2015. Pale yellow, clear, sparkling, small foamy white head, a little lacing. Aroma is light cracker malt, laundered clothes, touch of glue. Body is medium, foamy, soft carbonation. Taste is soft water biscuit malts, watery, soft bitterness. Highly drinkable lager with none of the usual metallic or vegetal flavours to let it down.

Alengrin (2815) - BELGIUM - FEB 26, 2015
Popular German Pilsener with very pale blonde, cristal clear colour under a thick, snow white head. Grainy nose, some malt sweetness, minerals, low hops presence; clean, crisp taste, light malt sweetness, dryish with some grassy hops in the finish but in a subdued way, rendering the ending a tad thin. Honest alright, but there are many better German Pilseners out there.

Classic German pilsener which does the job as a thirst quencher pretty well.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass Aroma- caught a whiff of hops and maybe a floral backdrop Appearance- A nice golden yellow color, clear with a lot of carbonation bubbles, nice white head Taste- A nice robust bitter bite that was not overwhelming. A good flavor Palate- Medium bodied with a good level of carbonation Overall- not a bad beer, better than beck’s and St. Pauli Girl

11.2 oz. bottle from Cost Plus. Amber in color with a small white head. Floral noble hop bitterness up front with a sweet finish of bread malt and a bit of lemon. Good amount of flavor. Not watery. Bitterness blends perfectly to offset the sweetness. Finish is crisp and refreshing. A very drinkable and satisfying pilsener.

Bottle. Clear yellow colour. Huhmge white head. Aroma of bread, grass and a tiny bit of citruss. Flavour of pale malt and grass. Smooth body. Medium carbo. Easy to drink but it´s not my thing at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Clear light golden amber color, white head that drops to a cover, strips of lace. Taste is simple malt that adds a solid shot of floral hops on the swallow, with both drifting through a lingering finish. Surprisingly satisfying, especially on a warm afternoon. Yes, it is a classic German Pilsener.
