2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Large can from local supermarket. First of all, drink extremely cold. Undrinkable when warm. Crisp malts and light metal on the nose and palate which is light and watery.

Clear golden color, thin white head. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Aroma is buttery, malty with caramel, apples and noble hops notes. Light to medium sweet taste, very little bitterness. Nice and pleasant cheap supermarket pilsener. Approved.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Una buona pilsener in puro stile tedesco. di colore giallo dorato, con un bel cappello di schiuma fine e persistente, di buona carbonazione, ben luppolata con un buon retrogusto leggermente amaro

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle on Lufthansa flight. Nice froth, yellow to darker amber in colour. Premiums are not my favourite but this was ok.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very solid Pilsener. Aroma is slight skunk. Some lacing. Slightly bitter edge with grass and lemon notes. Clean and crisp finish. I really like this lager..reminds me of watching the Bundesliga on TV.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
DATE TASTED: October 25, 2014... GLASSWARE: Warsteiner pokal... OCCASION: PSU/OSU white out again... APPEARANCE: champagne-like effervescence; crystal clear and golden yellow; vast, foamy white three-finger head; lacing represents confidently throughout ... AROMA: bread/dough malts mix with a metallic sharpness; some funky yeasts as well--not really appealing... PALATE: reasonably smooth; a flat finish; aftertaste is plausible; drinkable but not very memorable....TASTE: a liquid English muffin whose malts end in a woody, almost lagerish base; some corny residual, though thank God that’s not a likely German adjunct... OVERALL: a pilsener that occupies the mouth for a few moments--crisp yet nondescript, Warsteiner is a year-rounder that probably needs a pairing (holiday party, dinner, snack?) to succeed...otherwise, a beer that’s a bit more fun to say or see than it is to sip or savor...

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Straw color. White big head. Aroma mainly of malt. Sweetish malty taste of water. Bitterness low, light body, thin feel, average carbonation. If beer has DMS it’s hardly perceptible. Overall boring.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Straw-like colour with nice white head, but quickly disapearing and no lacing. Hoppy aroma with bready hints. It has a decent gerbal-like bitterness but maltiness as well. Maybe bit astringend. It’s well carbonated. Decent beer for meal.
