Aroma is grainy with a touch of sulfur and some light corn notes. A hint of a herbal hop aroma. The aroma is fairly clean but there is some light fruitiness as well. Pours a super clear yellow-gold with a thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges. Decent lacing and medium legs. Flavor starts with slightly sweet malt notes - grainy with some corn to it. A low floral hop flavor is also present as well as a light sulfur note. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Crisp, medium light body with medium carbonation. Low hop astringency and no alcohol warmth. Overall this beer isn't impressive but it is clean and to style. I may be imagining it but there seems to be some light esters in the aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle poured at the creperie in Edmonton. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head that dies very quickly. Smells faintly of grass. Taste is slightly hoppy with a bit of a corn and grass. Just okay. But it was free so....

Canned, 500 ml. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, malty, cardboard. Taste is hoppy, grainy, malty, and somewhat drier and more bitter than I expected from a pilsener, even a little metallic.

500 ml, can. Poured clear golden yellow, with a two finger white head that disappeared quickly. Aromas of cardboard, some malt, little citrus and floral essence. Taste pretty much continuation of the aromas. Not much going on here. Light bodied, with a short cardboardy finish. Overall a boring pilsner.

0,5lt bottle @ Valentin - Curious Bierkneipe, Volos, Greece Clear golden-yellow color, white foam that’s not lasting very much. Aroma z bit sweet/honey, taste also bit sweet with bread, very little bitter, reminds me that aluminium taste (pasteurized?). Light carbonation

Classic German pilsner. It has that classic German ’bitter’ taste, while other Euro lagers/pilsners have less bitterness and more sweetness.

Oft getrunken und für okay befunden. Ein recht charakterloses, aber frisches Pils ohne Missklänge.

Pours a very clear light gold with moderate head, with good lacing remaining. BB 15 July ’16. For me a pretty good pilsener. Can definitely feel it’s German. Above average - Prost!
