For the tick. Straight from the bottle, so Iím just assuming it would be a clear golden color with a firm white head, but I canít be sure....Aromaís: fruit, grain, like a true pilsner. Retronasal itís more sweet grain with light bitterness. Flavor is sweetish, fruity, light to moderate bitter. Light bodied. Not much of a finish. OK Pilsner.

660ml bottle poured into a pilsner glass. Bready, yeasty, sweet caramel nose with a bit of a skunky stella type smell. Hmm donít know about this one, Itís ok and refreshing enough, nice and bready, lemony and sweet to begin with but then there is something rather nasty that kicks in. A kind of metallic chemical aftertaste. Shame, itís almost there. This cost me £1.67 a bottle, prefer the Rheinbacher from Aldi at 99p a bottle.

33cl bottle at The Conrad Hong Kong on 28-Sep-2016. Pale amber with a thin white head. Aroma of grain, sweet malt and grass. Light body and medium carbonation. Slightly sweet, with barley, lemongrass, biscuit and pale malts. Light bitterness. Drinkable, but a pretty average German Pilsner.

Malty aroma, sulphur, some hoppy hints, surely European hops. Acceptable, but with the one disadvantage. Pale golden colour. Medium, white head. Taste is drym malty and it has something similar to DMS. Hoppy flavours, low to medium bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation. Quite good, dry, refreshing, but itís still an average level.

Bright pale straw color with low activity. Slightly frothy white 2 finger head. lasting around 5 minutes, and making average legs. Flavors of sweet grains, corn, faint lemon and noble spices. Slick and smooth full body with prickly carbonation. Faint skunky and grassy. Faint flavors, light finish. Highly sugary with low bitterness, but highly crispy. Feels of bread, biscuit, and caramel. Faint lingering finish of saaz and roasted grains. Overall the quality is alright, the ingredients feels fresh and not adjunct. Lacks some bitterness, too sugary, need more boldness. While the body is quite satisfying.

0,33l bottle. Clear yellow colour with disappearing white head. Aroma: Grassy, hay with a light metallic tone. With time a light unpleasent moldy aroma comes in. Interesting. Taste: Malty start (the mold aroma is unfourtunatly in the taste) with a sour and light bitter mouthfeel. Quite unbalanced and strange. Not good. Light body with fizzy carbonation. Long bitter and dry finish. Not good at all.

pint at source - bread and cereal nose. Light smoke flavor. Toast finish. Dark for the style. Reminds me of a Yuengling.

Draft at Oktoberfest - pours light golden with white head. Nose is bread. Aroma is toasty malts and light hops. Taste is mostly bitter and somewhat sweet. Aftertaste is a little skunky. Not impressed. Would recommend to a lightbeer drinker.
