3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nice color and clarity, familiar tang of lager beer in the nose; sourdough bread, biscuits, herbal spiciness. Taste was not crisp or bold as i had hoped, rather flabby and bland; some hop flavor coming through. I am a fan of assertive Euro Lagers like Stella Artois, Heineken and Becks, but Warsteiner offered a weak, adjuncty flavor that underwhelmed my palate and did not leave me wanting more.

What’s wrong with this. Lager, get it on. Do people who rate beer not like beer? Its a good lager, good german, beery flavoured lager. C’mon. Big bottle from the supermarket. Reminds me of sipping my dad’s beer can when I was little and didn’t like beer. Now I love beer and this servicebale, drinkable, grassy, slightly hoppy lager does the job. A bit thin but refreshing taste and goes down a treat. Grassy, spruce, slightly skunky beer. Went well with my fish and chips. Bring it on. Good

330ml bottle served in an ordinary glass.
A: Pours the traditional clear golden yellow color with a big fluffy and aired white head. Low retention and few lacings
S: Grains and hops, basically
T: Again, grains and hops backbone. Nice balanced bitterness. Metallic end
M: Light body. Refreshing. High carbonation
D: Good drinkability. A simple and refreshing beer, that’s all

Smells like disease and looks thin. If this is a queen of beers, it fits well with my feelings about the Norwegian monarchy -- it isn’t really very good, but it works.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20

This was my first time having this beer. Not much of a taste though. I will be trying it again.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
"A bready, crisply hopped, though still malt-dominated pilsner. OK, but has no one aspect that stands out at all. Thoroughly average, maybe juuust under for a thin prickly feel, but refreshing enough as a summer brew."

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clean golden color, medium white head. Aroma of malt and grassy hops. Taste has similar notes plus grain and light citrus. Thin body and lively carbonation. Very typical pilsner but quite ok.
