2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The Premium Verum pours as an amber beer with little head. The aroma is mostly of yeast. As I sip, I taste a good deal of grassy malt, along with a slight amount of caramel. The palate is pretty standard for a pilsner. Overall, it’s not a very complex beer; but it’s not bad either.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Classic Pilsener with a pleasant taste and very little aftertaste. It’s inoffensive, but watery with no body.

I really like these easy smooth German Pilsener type beers. Depends on what you are after. I’m in a light but quality taste mode these days.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours pale with big head, but it’s bubbly and quickly disappearing. The aroma is mostly sweetish, with a hint of hops. High carbonation. A bit sour and alcoholic. Watery with some odd bitterness in the end. For such a low ABV, you can feel the booze. Some wet cardboard taste too.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, 13/11/13. Pours a golden yellow with a large, white head. Aroma is pale malts, grain, a little cardboard and a little grass. Taste is surprisingly strong in the malt department. Very grainy. Light grass and cardboard again. Slightly watery, very high carbonation. Forgettable.
