2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 bhensonb (7145) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 26, 2009
Bottle from a discount grocery in Sacramento, CA. Light amber gold color with a rapidly departing white head. Smells like lemon. Ok, not the best radler in the world, but it rather fits the bill. Suspect the lemon is from syrup rather than fresh. Lightly refreshing, and I’d drink it around the pool. It’d wash down picnic fare. The low abv wouldn’t hurt vis a vis the DUI issue. Finishes a bit like a non-sour lemon drop.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Palidor19 (2297) - Brandon, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2009
a deep amount of lemon candy that goes throughout this beer. its over sweet with some something should be light and refreshing. the rest has a medium malts and virtually no hops.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Strykzone (2906) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2009
This beer has a champagne appearance in color, head, and effervescence. An unpleasant aroma is of Saaz hops with no fruit. Flavor is sweet and fruity but the fruit is artificial. Some lemon and apple along with malt and grain. It has an odd bitterness. Feel is soft. This is wine cooler country. The best thing about it is the very low ABV.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 nick76 (3461) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2009
The aroma is like lemon drop candy and malt. The appearance is pale gold with a thin head. The flavor is like the aroma being very simple but refreshing and inoffensive. The palate is watery. Overall there isn’t much to it but what is there fits what I expect from the style.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 Elwood (1834) - Between a rock and a hard place, Virginia, USA - APR 29, 2009
11.2 oz. bottle. Against my better judgment, I decided to give this one a try. Pours a watery looking yellow with a one inch, foamy, white head. The smell is like snorting Countrytime lemonade mix. Underneath all of the artificial lemon, there is a the faint smell of beer. Medium carbonation with a light yet sticky mouthfeel. Tastes like fermented lemonade only much more artificial. Who thought this was a good idea?? The worst part is it sticks to your tongue like glue. I moved like my head was on fire and my ass was catching as I ran around trying to scrub the taste off my tongue. Disgusting!

Bottle. Poured a dark golden color with no head. Aroma was lemon, pines, and grass. Flavor was so artificial. No real flavors. Very thin and watery. Yuck, and the ABV? Not a very good beer, if you can call it that.

very uplifting and clean lemon scent, with a touch of grass .. . wow, surprisingly fuckin good! sweet and tart, refreshing and very clean... i had a bbq the other day, it was 96 degrees not including the grill temp, and this brew did the job! ... even not on hot day this beer is fantastic! .. great foam qualities too... healthy head, decent lacing .. This is very nice!
