(had as Gavlen IPA). Goldeny amber colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is earthy, fruity, nectary and some slight floral notes. Flavour is similar with mild toffee and some grainy and grassy notes.

Bottle. Frothy White good mostly deminishing head. Brown colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Apple notes! Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Strange IPA.

Fra fat på Lord Nelson: fint kremet skum som varer. Aroma av malt og surt gress. Smaken domineres av en beskhet som jeg ikke liker. Tørr ettersmak hvor det sure gressinntrykket ikke gir seg. Snakk om lang ettersmak.

Tap @ Lord Nelson. Nice head with good duration. Aroma and taste are dominated by rich malt and just a little hops to go wit it. Notes of caramel as well.

Chopp. Hazy amber-brown colour, medium beige head. Sweet toasty caramel malty aroma with some fruity hoppiness. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, well toasty caramel with toasty malt, fruity like hoppiness, mild bitterness. Mild and quite sweet IPA with more caramel, and also malt, than hops.

Draught at Café Gavlen. Unclear deep amber colour. small and short lastingoff-white head. Hoppish caramel toasty aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet well toasted caramel malty flavour with some hoppy bitterness. Rather boring and too sweet.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel.

Draft. A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit as well as a lighter note of butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and fruit, as well as lighter notes of diacethyl, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.
