Pours a vibrant golden orange. Aromas are nice apricot. Flavors are a bit fruity at first but it finishes very watery.

Wasatch Apricot Hefeweizen has a thick, fluffy, white head, a hazy, golden appearance, streaming bubbles, and a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of apricot, tap water, and little bit of wheat. The taste is the same, with a low bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and somewhat slick. Wasatch Apricot Hefeweizen finishes rather wet, watery, and dull. Overall, this is just average. RJT

Bottle: Cloudy yellow, small white head. Apricot, wheat scent. Sweet apricot taste... Pretty much one note.... if you like apricots, this one works.

Bottle: Pale yellow color with a soft haziness to it. Just a little ring of white head and leaves very thin sheets; it almost looks like it was frosted. Distinct aroma of the apricots is abundant and overwhelms anything else that may be there. Similar in the taste, but wheat and some of the malts come through. Doesn’t scream hefe at all… fits the fruit beer category well. Mix with Sprite and instant cheerleader beer.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2015 This isn’t Wasatch’s best effort, but the brewery has proven to be fairly proficient at brewing with fruit. I’ve yet to see a good wheat beer and fruit combination. Typically, the light body created by wheat malt is too easily overwhelmed by fruit juice and any hope of balance is destroyed. This is probably the best execution of the concept that I’ve seen so far. The apricot taste is clear but reserved, sweet but not obnoxious.

Clear golden color with white head. Big apricot aromas and not much else. Medium body with average carbonation. Lightly sweet, earthy apricot flavors with a pale wheat base brew

Can. Pours a pretty ordinary hazy gold with a thin white head. Overwhelming apricot candy on the nose; sweet and pleasant, but there’s not much else there. Round, a little sweet, and pleasant in a non-offensive sort of way; I could drink a lot of this and enjoy it, but I’d probably forget the next day what I drank. Finishes fruity and a touch saline. Fairly average.
