They were dangled before us: big, beautiful, luscious apricots Our minds said No, but our bodies said, Yes. As usual, we gave in to temptation – and created this delicious brew!

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2011 Pours a cloudy golden color with an aroma of apricots. Taste is big on tart apricots and wheat, while sweet and watery. Not one of the better fruit beers that I have tried.

12oz bottle pours slightly hazy gold with near bright white head. The aroma sends up apicot juice, blunted wheat notes, grainy malts and then sort of International House of Pancakes apricot pancake syrup. The taste starts out with an even mix of apricot and apricot syrup followed by apricot flavored Smarties sweet/tart candies and wheat malts. To midway and into the finish creamy wheat and grainy malts come to the surface with plenty of lingering apricot extract and syrup notes.

Flavored Hefeweizens are like flavored Long Island Ice Teas: completely pointless. The apricot overpowers everything. Can’t wait for the chocolate hefeweizen.

12 oz. bottle in trade with Sledutah. Hazy golden color. Fizzy head that died to nearly nothing. Higher carbonation. Nose of apricot and light wheat. HUGE apricot taste with a bit of bread. Body is light to medium, apricot fruitiness is dominant, with a sour fruity finish. A nice fruit beer, maybe best for people who are just starting a journey into craft beer.

Meh. Very boring not a lot of flavor, just a touch of apricot. Kind of sweet. Serve this to your lady friends who don’t normally drink beer.

West USA trip 2010. Bottled. The aroma has aprikots mostly. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a white head. The taste is sweetish, has aprikots, citrus and bubblegum. Yuki.

Bottle. Nice hazy light orange pour. Aroma is chuck full of sweet and sticky apricots (in a syrupy form) and frankly not much else. Taste is very sweet and fruity, lots of apricot flavor a bit of weizen taste but generally almost no beery flavors at all. Palate is decent, medium carbonation just a little chewey. A beer for kids.

bottle tasted on 12/25/2009. slightly hazy yellow-y gold with a short lived white head. the aroma is barely unripe fresh apricots, flowers, peaches, light wheat and mildly tart. the palate is fruity initially and very dry throughout with a tart crisp finish. apricots are in the flavor fo’ sho’... maybe dried... mixed with dusty wheat, earthiness and tart peaches which leach into the aftertaste. it lacks the good hefe qualities including the mouth feel... this is light bodied and sharp. as a fruit beer it is dece. as a hefe it falls short of mediocre. 6/3/6/2/13/3.0
