They were dangled before us: big, beautiful, luscious apricots Our minds said No, but our bodies said, Yes. As usual, we gave in to temptation – and created this delicious brew!

Hazy straw colour. Big apricot, fresh and a little bit yoghurty. Bitter, fairly astringent with a light apricot accent. Slight tartness in the finish. Nothing really comes together here.

(Draught) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of apricot, vanilla, and light grain. Flavor of apricot, wheat, light vanilla, and some lactose.

Bottle from bu11zeye. Pours dirty/hazy gold with a slight white head. Nice apricot aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is very apricot. Almost perfume level. Not getting much else. Good, if you need an apricot fix. Finishes dry/astringent to me.

Bottle. I am a sucker for apricot beers. Not sure why, but I love em. This one was pretty good. Tart apricot aroma with some wheat and yeast. Flavor has lots of dried apricot flavor, wheat and yeast. Good.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with douglas88 (thanks!). Poured a lighter and cloudy yellow color with an averaged sized head. A couple of floaters in there. Aromas of freash peaches and apricots. Getting a lot of peaches. Tastes of apricots, lighter peaches, and wheat. Thinner body with a light tart finish.

Bottled. Poured clear, brighter golden with a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up apricots, sweet honey, and banana, with hints of sour fruit skins and wheat around.. aiight. The flavor found mostly bready notes and honey at the core, with nice complementary apricot juice joining.. lightly sour and a bit grainy around, with refreshing fruit and tangy wheat on the quick, dry finish. Light-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. this was a decent easy-drinker.

12oz bottle pours slightly hazy gold with near bright white head. The aroma sends up apicot juice, blunted wheat notes, grainy malts and then sort of International House of Pancakes apricot pancake syrup. The taste starts out with an even mix of apricot and apricot syrup followed by apricot flavored Smarties sweet/tart candies and wheat malts. To midway and into the finish creamy wheat and grainy malts come to the surface with plenty of lingering apricot extract and syrup notes.

Bottle: Pale yellow, hazy, small white fizzy head, spotty lacing, mild carbonation.   Somewhat of an artificial, or candy like, Apricot nose.   Lightly spiced as well.   Apricot start, definitely fruity, doesn’t seem terribley artificial, thankfully.   The Hefe portion is quite dull tho, not as wheaty of a mouthfeel as I was hoping.   Moderate body, flavorful, but just not full enough.   Lingering Apricot flavors after the finish, but also with a touch of dish soap.   Decent offering, just a bit too thin.

BVery (6270) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - FEB 16, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2013 Bottle. Hazy neon yellow/orange pour. Plenty of apricot aroma but also a whiff of vomit. Thinner palate, bland apricot taste. Not very good.
