12oz bottle - Pours, well, brown with a very thin white head that disappears quickly. Aromas of toasted nuts and leather. WEAK but detectable flavors of an earthy, woody, malted grains...with a soft bitter finish. Not much to rave over. Drinkable, but lacking.

Bobsled Nut Brown Ale has a thin-to-medium, beige head, a fair amount of lacing splotches left on the glass, a very clear, red-brown appearance (although, the website says it’s unfiltered), and a few bubbles ascending. The aroma and flavor are muted, but you will pick up some sweet, candy-like toffee in the aroma, and mild, roasted, semi-sweet bread crust and low-level bitterness in the flavor. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Bobsled Nut Brown Ale finishes crisp and plain. No off aromas or flavors, though. RJT
