mjg74 (1800), La Mesa, California, USA May 6, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Dark copper in color. Earthy/malty aroma. Floral aroma reminds me of something English, like some of those St. Peters beers. Flavor is a little muted, but has a little bit of sweetness. Some toastiness and floral hops. Easy sipper.
travita (762), Lewisville, Texas, USA Sep 7, 2008 Copper colored and clear in the look with a light white head. Smell is biscuits, carmel, and mostly just malty aromas. Taste is a light sweetness, malts, and caramel. Light and weaker overal. Off taste in the back of the throat. phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 19, 2008 Thanks to my friend Tricia for this one: This beer pours a dark but clear copper colour with a small creamy white top. Aroma is of sweet malts and soft caramel. Mouthfeel is light, semi-dry but firm malt character. In the taste, a tiny hint of milk chocolate, pancakes and honey. Lacing is attractive, all in all a better beer then i thought it would be. JohnnyZ (76), USA Aug 13, 2008 Nothing special. Needs more alcohol and hop aroma. Tastes good, but lacks longevity. Good times in Park City though- afireinside96 (498), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 4, 2008 12oz bottle served in a mug. Much thanks to my friend Krista for bringing me this back from Utah. Pours amber (duh) with a mostly lasting off-white head. Smells of dough, caramel, and lightly spicy hops. Nice chewy dough flavor, a touch of caramel and a hint of bitterness rounds things out. Pretty nice for 4% abv. TikiE (352), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jun 12, 2008 On tap at Woody’s Tavern. Nice and refreshing on a very hot day. Pours a golden color with a white lacing. As hints of caramel and some hops. With mostly malts.
