Legend has it Ghostrider roams Utah’s Wasatch Range seeking revenge: “someone” lost his White IPA recipe. Smooth and crisp, it’s made from pale barley and citrusy hops. It’s too good to hide!
Food Pairings: Squirrel over an open fire.

Bottle poured a murky orange hue w/ large fluffy white head diminishing to a small cap w/ excellent lacing. Mild lemon citrus aroma. Initial flavor is faint sweet w/ a sharp bitter finish of short duration. Tastes are bold grapefruit and light doughy yeast. Medium bodied, low to average carbonation, and a slightly dry finish.

Cloudy lemonade color. Tall ultra-white foamy head. Strong herbal hop aroma. Taste- similar to the aroma. Grassy herbal hops, touch of citrus and some crackery malt. Dry palate. A decent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is an IPA? Light and syrupy. If you like Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, then you might like this. I don’t like either one. I’ve had other white IPAs (e.g., Deschutes) and while they are not my favorite, there is something artificial in the flavor of this one. Not my thing.

Pours hazy yellow, with off-white head. Much lighter than a straight IPA. Crisp and fresh, not syrupy or cloying like modern IPAs can be. Hops come through without strong bitterness. Tropical fruit--mango and grapefruit. Light pine. Makes for a satisfying session beer -- which makes it somewhat unique in this genre. Frat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold pour - nose of floral and peppery hops, with a slight lemon and herbal tea note, complimented well by the soft tones of tangy wheat - flavor is not as balanced - a little overly bitter, grapefruit pith and lemon - moderate wheat, herbal character - minimal sweetness - mostly dry, with a crisp hop bite - decent, just slightly overly bitter.

Not really an ipa (only 35 IBUs), but lots of hop aroma. One of the better beers here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy yellow color with white head. Tropical, earthy hop aroma, more mango and orange than grapefruit. Very drinkable, nice hop fruit taste but not too bitter. Medium body, very good white ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Utah liquor store. Pours yellow with a thin khaki head. Not much on the nose. Has some orange peel notes on the tongue with some nice bitterness in the finish. Interesting.

Draught at The Chimes, Baton Rouge, LA.
Pale cloudy yellow colour with a thick creamy white head. Hops, mild yeast and moderate bitterness in the aroma. Nice. Fruitiness, moderate bitterness and Belgian yeast in the flavour. Waterish... unfortunately. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

Aroma is lemons, citrus/citrus zest and a hint of spices. The flavor is citrus/lemon, spices/citrus zest, a hint of hop resin, malts and a dry and bitter/tangy finish.
