2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (only brewing info on the label suggests itís made by Utah Brewers Cooperative in SLC? thought that was just a store, but maybe also brewing the higher-ABV Wasatch and Squatters stuff?).
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin/pine, lemon oil), lightly yeasty (dough), with a note of detergent.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Canít say I really get any of the coriander, but it might just be because Iím overly sensitive to the resinous/piney hop odors, which covers most things up for me...kinda soapy and doughy too, and not much else going on. Bit bland and tart and watery in the mouth, but ok I guess, no glaring flaws. Overall average or so. Never really understood the point of this hybrid style...seems like clashing ideas to me, spices and hops basically competing with each other for the aromatic high points.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of the best white IPAs Iíve tried. A bit lighter flavor perfect for warm summer days with a more than respectible hop character and bitterness.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a big fluffy white head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma i s spicy with some sorta fruitiness, itís got a smattering of fruit forward hops, and is generally (and pleasantly) kind of lemony.
The flavor has that weird old spicy on hoppy thing, the hops flavor is decent and fruit forward, but the clash of bitterness with spices is odd and not especially pleasant. The orange peel character is bright... I donít know I like a bunch of the stuff about the flavor, just not sure itís woven together right... at least not for a beer Iíd want to boost.
SHELF BEER ALERT!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Do I rate this as a ipa? Cuz itís not. Conflicted... 12 oz bottle pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Citrus and isovaleric cheese on the nose. Bit of sulfur. Flavor is citrus dominant with more cheese and a dry finish. But still not a ipa. Dunno.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy lemonade color. Tall ultra-white foamy head. Strong herbal hop aroma. Taste- similar to the aroma. Grassy herbal hops, touch of citrus and some crackery malt. Dry palate. A decent IPA.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is an IPA? Light and syrupy. If you like Leinenkugelís Summer Shandy, then you might like this. I donít like either one. Iíve had other white IPAs (e.g., Deschutes) and while they are not my favorite, there is something artificial in the flavor of this one. Not my thing.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy yellow, with off-white head. Much lighter than a straight IPA. Crisp and fresh, not syrupy or cloying like modern IPAs can be. Hops come through without strong bitterness. Tropical fruit--mango and grapefruit. Light pine. Makes for a satisfying session beer -- which makes it somewhat unique in this genre. Frat beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy gold pour - nose of floral and peppery hops, with a slight lemon and herbal tea note, complimented well by the soft tones of tangy wheat - flavor is not as balanced - a little overly bitter, grapefruit pith and lemon - moderate wheat, herbal character - minimal sweetness - mostly dry, with a crisp hop bite - decent, just slightly overly bitter.
