disappointment, but what can you say about drinking beers in Utah. had this on Monday on tap (few days ago) felt like it was missing the wheaty flavors, light scents and just didnt give me a reason to even rate. sorry I have had decent wasatch beers but this was very weak. very watered down

on tap in park city 7/21/10.
hazy yellow body. the soft creamy white head is lasting and leaves spotty deposits on the glass.
aromas of banana, wet burlap sack, flowers, wheat and a touch of spiciness. there is a slight rubbery element when it warms.
the flavor is the same but with a lemony tart finish.
it is medium bodied though it feels a bit watery. tartness hides the usual oomph i like from the style. 6/4/6/3/13/3.2
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 nickd717 (3242) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 21, 2010
Sampled on draft. Had a nice pour at GABF as I was pouring in this block and allowed unlimited access to the beer. Typical hefeweizen aroma, wheaty and yeasty with banana and clove, along with a hint of anise and slight floral notes. The flavor is also pretty standard. Not much to say here that I haven’t said for 90% of hefes out there, except that it maybe has slightly more floral hops than usual. Good level of sweetness. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. Good for the style, but hey, this style doesn’t really excite me unless it’s done very well, so "meh," more or less.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jow (778) - New York, USA - SEP 21, 2010
I had a delay during my layover in Salt Lake City so I wandered into Wasatch brew pub. Since I was pretty hungover from GABF the night before i went with this Hefe in loo of the porter, which would be normal choice. Anyways it pours hazy yellow, and is yeasty, fresh and tastes of bananas. Very pleasant beer from a place I wouldn’t expect.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tennisjoel (1105) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - NOV 3, 2009
Purchased at Wasatch brew pub in the SLC airport. Aroma is promising. Appearance is hazy and pleasing. Flavor is a bit muted, but otherwise this is a decent hefe, and better than many american hefe attempts that should really be labelled as bland american wheats.
