sparkling gold with a fine-bubbled white head. sweet/candied dough and pineapple/juicy fruit aromatic hops in the nose. thin body, moderately frothy middle, dissipating quickly in a short finish. seems to be all pale malt and there’s little in the way of unfermented sugars, a benefit of Utah’s insane 4% draft beer laws that I’ll happily accept. overall it’s pretty pale, thin and watery, the hops are pretty sparse for something with the word in the name, but no biggie.

Growler from the Utah Brewers Cooperative in SLC. Made by the brewer at Wasatch in Park City using wild hops found in the mountains. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head and lots of lacing. A sweet nose of honey malts, apricot and oranges. A earthy sweet flavor; fruity, apricots, marmalade, lighter earthy malts and some honey. Very smooth and easy to drink. Pretty nice and unique.
