pours a reddish brown-black with a small tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is of lightly roasted malts, stale coffee, coco, and some metallic notes. Taste is similar with some vanilla and caramel notes. Has a medium-light body with a watery mouthfeel and a mostly sweet moderately short finish. Overall, a below average porter.

A redfisn brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, a weird biscuit malt with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a light nutty roasted malt with grassy hops, so-so.

An easy drinking Porter for sure. It’s a little lackluster but could be a nice session.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 alexandersh (92) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle: Color: Reddish Brown. Aroma: Cocoa and Malt. Flavor: Watery palate / Flavor profile of malt and chocolate on an extremely mild scale. While this beer is on the border of tasty, it is not creamy and thick as it claims. A stronger taste of both elements would have made this more pleasant.
