This beer smells amazing. There is a strong smell of coffee and chocolate. After that the taste is not that great. Its pretty bland overall. I got this one for novelty. It was worth the $4. Not the greatest porter, but it sure did smell good.

Clear, light copper, smoky color, tall, persistent head. Pronounced yeasty nose. Extra-light body, weak and simple flavor, balanced in its weakness, well carbonated, good length. Sweet & sour, Roast flavors, barley candy, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark brown with some red in it when placed to the light. The head was off white and dissipated rather quickly leaving little lacing. The aroma is chocolate and lightly/medium roast, and also some mild coffee. The taste is similar but less pronounced compared to the aroma. The taste is light and almost watery which is expected at the 4% abv. Not a bad beer, worth the try!

Bottle. Chocolate and earthy roasty malt aroma. Deep chestnut with a moderate tan head. Milk chocolate, coffee, and roasty flavor. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I’m rather impressed at the fullness of flavor out of a 4% ABV.

Brown pour. Small on of white bubbles. No lacing. Toasty aroma and malt. Chocolate and coffee. Taste is pretty much the same. Slight roasted chocolate. Nice.

Medium tan head with clumpy bubbles. Dark ruby brown. The slightest faint chocolate atoms. You really have to work for it though. Slight chocolate taste but the pallate has a hole in it. Not a full feeling body. Nice flavorful session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle brought home from US by Paul. Beer pours a deep dark brown colour with a small tan colour head. Aroma of roasted chocolate, nutty, with coffee. Light sweetness, hint of sour. Body fairly light, oily texture, carbonation has a little fizz to it. Finish is a dry, and a bit sour with bitter coffee.

When in Utah, buy Wasatch. Not a bad pour, nutty brown and lightly aromatic off the top. A huge tan head covers the liquid about two fingers high, but sinks quickly into the brew and almost disappears; the lacing on the glass, significant and consistent. The aroma is nutty cocoa, as is the flavor, but unfortunately once you tip the glass, any richness in the aroma is drowned by the watered down taste of the brew. Any sweetness or bitter is hidden behind the non-flavor and I am having a difficult time experiencing anything between the aroma and the aftertaste. It’s almost as if the liquid disappears in the short interim between. It is easy to drink, smooth as nothing, and the very low abv does allow one to experience as much as one can handle. I will most likely not handle this one again.
